  • Possible Alternative Apps

I have a feeling even “Corporate learners” would choose to use other language learning apps to work on their language skills probably because they’re cheaper or sometimes free. A customer’s personal enjoyment is based on their comfort level with the App of their choosing.
  • App freezes whenever I try to load a lesson

The app freeze whenever I load a lesson, so I can’t really use it?
  • Web version is much better

I’m using an iPhone 11 Pro. I think if I were using a Max phone, or iPad, I might feel differently. But as far as the phone app goes, it’s lacking. I end up using Duolingo more often, which is a waste of the money I spent on Rosetta Stone, but only because my phone is often more convenient when I’m able to practice.

Some of the less than stellar details:

    - the pictures are difficult to see. I could not figure out how to zoom in on the photos to know what is being washed, the gender of a person, etc.

    - when using headphones, the audio is SUPER loud and I’m unable to use the side buttons to turn it down. It’s one constant volume. I like to listen to instrumental music while I study and I like using headphones so I don’t disturb my partner’s focus, but I can’t do that with this app. I don’t have this problem on the web version.

    - this one is less of a problem with the app itself and more of a comparison: it’s not as gamified as Duolingo, which makes it less addicting. I so desperately want to get to Duo’s diamond league and compete with my friends and earn gems and XP to unlock fun things and earn achievements! Rosetta has done so, so, so much to keep current with the times, especially ditching CDs for digital downloads (RIP CD days of yore), but this gamification has always been lacking. I keep at it only because I know I won’t become fluent with Duo alone. I do feel like I make more progress with Rosetta... when I find the motivation to put Duo aside to use the web version.
  • Terrible

I have had to redo activities multiple times because the app did not register it as completed, even though I was sure to stop at the end of a lesson. Sometimes, it will just freeze, and I will have to, once again, start over from the beginning of the lesson because it did not register my progress. I don’t find the teaching methods beneficial at all.

  • Rate the App

It is very interesting to me.
  • My concern

I like my class but I can’t understand well because I think is hard for the little understanding that I have with my English some things I can understand some not.

    Thank you,
  • Bad

Works very bad, can’t finish lessons because buttons with sounds just or disappears or doesn’t show at all sometimes, very disappointing.
