  • Favorite way to listen to my music

I use plum every day. I have done so for the past few months. The developer has been continuing to improve an already useful app. Happy with the purchase and looking forward to where it goes from here.

    Thanks! Glad to hear that
  • My favorite music app

I’ve researched a lot of music apps and this one fits my preferences best.

    Highlights:
Colorized artist/album/now playing views, the ability to add custom artist art, and the theme colors make music-listening a visually engaging experience.
The favorites tab is extremely useful—you can add specific playlists, artists, albums, and even songs. The heart icon makes it easy to add to that favorites tab.
The queue builder is solid. You also have the option to play now or add next or add to end of queue just by clicking the song.
It has lyrics support which is easy to access from the now playing menu.
The option to auto-fetch artist and album info adds context to my music that I hadn’t known before—didn’t realize so many of my faves were from Scandinavian countries!
It doesn’t have Home Screen widgets but it does have widgets for everything else.
There are sorting options such as release year, alphabetical, etc.
Not really relevant to me because I just use iTunes, but it also has lastfm and Spotify support.

One thing I’d like to see is custom default sorting preferences. For example, whenever I’m in artist view, I’d like the albums to be listed by release year automatically.

Wow, thanks for the review. It really means a lot and I’m glad you found so many of the features useful. As for sorting artist albums, you have clearly found a bug. It seems like the sorting setting isn’t saved properly, I’ll fix it ASAP!
  • Awesome

Hey, I just tried this app today because I love to manage my own music on my device, and it's simply awesome. I just have two questions, is there a way to enable the searching by genre (I have tried a lot of third parties apps and they don’t include that search and I don’t know why)? and is there a way to search an artist and play all the songs that have their name on it (I use that function a lot because sometimes the Ft. artist name is on the name of the song and is really handy to me search the name of the artist and just hit play and play all the songs that matches)?
It will be awesome. Oh and I like the way lastfm works, it’s simply perfect.

  • worth it

you’re able to control the queue, volume control, skip/pause/play & even get lyrics for the song all from one screen. There are so many more features that I’m yet to discover but with what I’ve seen so far, I’m happy I downloaded it! Good job on this app

Thank you so much for the kind words! Would you mind getting in touch to tell me how did you find out about the app? I’m curious about where the new users come from :)
  • Needs a little more work to be perfect

The concept of this music player is amazing and I think this could be a must have app but mainly struggles in UX design. If this app had a professional UX designer and graphic designer working on it this would be next level. It’s just hard for me to leave spotify when the layout is very foreign to me. There should also be buttons to take me to the spotify/music app. If those changes were implemented this could be the perfect app.

  • Awesome! but...

please add the ability to import music from third party apps by the share sheet (open-in) feature
Thank you for the hard effort you put in this great app🙏🏼
  • great app but could use some minor improvements

ive been searching for apps that utilize streaming services api and provide a overall better experience compared to the stock app. there are a couple of small visual changes id love to see implemented future updates. first one is an option to show more information on the screen and make the font smaller on the whole app. the second is maybe clean up the animation for swiping back from the now playing screen back into the library. last feature, though not a visual change, is to add a EQ built into the app if its possible using the spotify api. thanks for this app and i hope u take my suggestions into consideration!

  • Get this app, you won’t regret it.

A great music app for music lovers. I have a large collection of music I like to browse and play and this app has no distractions or ads that get in the way of the music. The app gets artist and album information , history and interesting snippets from last.fm and this really enhances the experience. The support has been first class and I look forward to being a long time user of this app, buy it and support the developer. Thanks

  • Really needs lyrics for all songs

I love the UI except the fact that not that many songs have their lyrics, which is most of the reason I’m looking to use an alternate Spotify music player. Add that feature and I’ll pay any price
  • Did the unlock price just nearly double?

I was going to pay to unlock this. Thought the price was showing $2.99, but today it opened up to be $4.99. I have already paid for a few players, for $3 I was willing to kick them some money too but $5 is a pretty quick jump if it’s true. Really just want to kill the nag screen, that’s why I could swear it was $3 to unlock just recently. Oh well.
