This is not correct. You’re not forced to upgrade. The Pro upgrade is optional and enabled extra features. Most of our uses never need to upgrade, and nobody is forced. 🙂
Weird Focus on Phone
I love all of the teleprompter apps from this company, and I absolutely love that I can sync scripts across my computer, iPad and phone. Lately, I’ve noticed that the focus is weird when I record in the phone app. It’s like it doesn’t recognize and track my face… almost like it locks focus at the beginning or something. It’s really odd. Because of that, a lot of videos end up slightly out of focus and I find it distracting. I’ve looked around the camera settings and I can’t figure out what might be causing this.

Great teleprompter App
I used to hold up a piece of paper to try to record things and it made for awkward videos. I didn’t even know these things existed and when I tried it I fell in love with it. I only use the simple features of script and video but that is all I need. Thank you for this amazing app!
Useless
My script regularly disappears from the screen, and it does not scroll as you speak. So you have to stop and scroll manually in order to get to the next part of what you want to read which completely interrupts the flow and defeats the purpose of the app. I’m not sure where these good reviews come from. The app includes controls but none of them seem to affect any function and attempting to make adjustments removes your script and the app must be restarted to show it again

Made me feel like a pro!
I never write a review, but am doing a fundraising campaign where had to do a video. First time I ever created a video, so was frustrated with methods using video tools on my computer, or standard video conferencing apps. Video Teleprompter (Pro version) was so easy to do all the things I needed to make the video look professional: scrolling teleprompter with ability to change size and speed, captions, time delay, using my Apple Watch as controller, etc. Will use in the future!

Dissatisfied
Tried saving my video, got a message “preparing video”, waited for about 20 min for it to be saved to my gallery and eventually gave up.
Perfect for my needs, and so easy!
I create social media content for my company, Smiley Rock Records. I personally like working with scripts so I can say what I want concisely. I exclusively use my phone to create video content. The trick is to read the script while making it look natural like you’re not reading, and for the most part be looking at the camera. Video Teleprompter makes all of this easy. Being able to fully control font size and scrolling speed along with its other features dramatically reduces the amount of effort it takes to create good video content. A great product!

A very helpful tool for reporters
As Salaam Alaikom….May peace be upon you. As I search for employment in television and radio news media reporting to share information regarding climate change and the urgent message to conserve all use of international fuel and international forestation, this app has been so very helpful with reading script in front of the camera. Reading reports on camera through the app is very user friendly. As I use it to rehearse ahead of time prior to visiting a media news studio, I’m grateful to have such a wonderful tool that I believe will help me find work.

This is absolutely not correct. It’s definitely NOT a scam, our products have been available for over a decade and generally the best and most recommended Teleprompter software in the industry m.
