Cool but lag on connection sometimes
Sometimes one of my lights will lag when I try to turn it on and the set up through Wi-Fi can be slow and annoying
Please fix connectivity problems.
Windows Desktop Control Center works fine. The iOS app worked fine too but suddenly stopped working. After it stopped working I updated the software and the lights’ firmware.
I see the app that requires a monthly subscription to control accessories has high reviews but this free app has poor reviews. I just want to control my Elgato Key Lights. Please fix.

Update…
Since the recent update, only one light shows up in the app. Seeing how I need two lights and can’t get the other to show up, this is very disappointing
Doesn’t connect to key lights
Tried over and over following all advice resetting the lights and app but still doesn’t connect. Like the desktop app, this needs work. Using k ok a test iteration of iOS so probably the app not updated.
Works fine
I don’t know what everyone is complaining about, maybe they’ve patched it since?
Initial setup was fine once I found the power switch on the physical light.
It shows up under WiFi, not as a network connect to, but will be listed saying “set up device”.
It works flawlessly once connected to the app, for me at least.
Note that you need to connect to 2.4 GHz WiFi, not 5 GHz. If you don’t know what this means then it’s unlikely you’ll have to worry about it.

Response from developer
Dear Control Center user, Thanks for the wonderful feedback, our developers are very happy about it! Keep having fun with our products and apps! Your Elgato Team
Great when it works…but it doesn’t always work
I love my Key Light Airs, but when the app refuses to let me control them, they’re just really expensive decorations.
Just terrible
This app probably has one of the worst price of hardware to quality of software ratios of all time. Where to begin: intermittent connectivity, no support for HomeKit, no support for automations or shortcuts, no widgets, no extensions, no lighting presets (adjust sliders and remember your settings every time). Oh and best of all you have to use it because the stupid light has no controls on it. Incredible that they can get away with this.

Zero Stars if it was possible
I’ve been using Elgato Keylights for three years now. I can not recommend them because of massive connection issues. The team responsible for it should be replaced from the ground up.
Easy to use, a struggle to stay connected
I love how easy it is to use this app to control my Elgato Ring Light but sometimes it’s a hassle just to get it to connect, and the connection is never stable enough to install firmware updates. I will hold out hope that the Elgato team will fix this (I’ve already been through all the troubleshooting) but right now, it’s a guessing game as to whether or not my light will even turn on due to inability to connect.

Simple app. Works seamlessly on Mac and iOS
It seems like most the negative reviews are about connectivity. For me everything just works. I added my key light as a Wi-Fi device using my MacBook Air. Later I downloaded the control center to another Mac and it was already configured and ready to go. When I downloaded the app to my phone, I didn’t even have to add my light. It was already there. Love it. Great UX.
