The watch is all of a sudden unable to sync my workouts to my phone. I’ve restarted the app, restarted my watch, and restarted my phone, nothings worked for the last month. I loved the watch and the app but for the last month it’s been absolutely terrible. Maybe it’s a bug that needs to be worked through.Show lesstaylorduffy
Great Fitness App
The timex smart app and Ironman R300 complement each other very well, and I have had a pleasant experience with the app over the past couple months.
Using the app to set up and configure my watch was simple and quick, and I was ready to go in minutes. Reviewing data from running/biking (route, pace, cadence, HR) is straightforward. Workouts upload to the app and to Strava shortly after finishing workouts.

Decent enough, issues, mistakes and omissions.
The watch face page in the app won’t open on iPhone 12. The lay out is not great. Of the 4 tabs at the bottom only 2 are useful. There’s a tab for sharing you data with other Timex community members. Nope. There’s a list of menu items and in there, there is “…more”. Why not include the menu items in “…more” in the current list of menu items? If it’s not on the list, of course in want “…more”. But it would be on the list if there weren’t t a “…more” tab. It seems pretty silly if you ask me. Seems like a 6yo would t make that mistake. Just put the “…more items” with the other items. It’s over all okay but as time goes in it’s more and more annoying. Especially when features are plagued with bugs and counter-intuitiveness even when they’re fixed, it’s annoying because I’ve lost interest. I put my watch down for months as a result and only recently started using it again. I can’t justify an Apple Watch when I have this but I’m building a mental case for it right now it appears. I would also like to know how you arrive at knowing my deep sleep vs. light sleep times, you give me the data but not how you arrive at that conclusion. Is it heart rate? Is it listening? Is it blood oxygen? ECG? How do you know what cycle I’m in?
Oh, and emojis don’t show up in texts you receive on the watch. Is that an oversight, or timex not wanting to spend the money? In any case, it’s a tell that they’re not serious about making this watch the best it can be, they’ve aimed to make a watch and app that is passable and only barely succeeded.

This app need more watch faces, please.
I’m so bored with what I have to choose from as for as different watch faces. I’ve tried all the ones I liked over and over again. Please give us more watch faces and more themes. The holiday ones, you got that covered. But more Expeditions faces, more digital numbered faces, just more choices period. Other lower priced watches have over 80 watch faces, what‘s your problem?
That’s the only reason I don’t recommend this Timex to my friends.

simple perfection
I’ve used Apple Watch, Garmin, Casio…and now this, looking for the perfect GPS. Battery life, ease of use, mobile app…this one is as close to perfect as I’ve found. The only drawback, if you’re looking for something to track your indoor swimming, this isn’t it. Nice work Timex.z11comm

Can’t handle DST changes
Good app, good watch, but twice a year, when DST starts and stops, it’s like a re-set. All your streaks start over and it won’t record your activity for that day. You would expect a Timex app could handle time changes, but think again.
Also, how about some better watch face variety? Seasonal ones for instance.Show lessFB choked!

Hello there! We did have an issue last Spring with DST. We fixed the issue shortly thereafter and released an update. Please make sure that you update to the latest version of the app.Fraught with glitches and no one can do a thing about it.
The app seems to take a dump whenever it’s daylight savings or leap year. It just can’t handle the change. Also, it will arbitrarily stop working and lose all my data for days, thus ending my streak. The folks at Timex are absolutely clueless…utterdisaster
