  • Was great back when it worked.

    I used to be able to connect my watch to my phone and track my sleep and workouts. Some time about two months ago, the GPS started failing to work on the watch, the watch stopped connecting to my phone, and all my data in the app disappeared. I’m sitting here trying to set up my account on the app again and every time I try to connect the device, I get an error message saying “Contact customer service” but with no info on how to do that. So I’m here instead. Maybe I’ll get lucky and someone from this mythical customer service will see this review.

    Dear customer service: Why did I spend money on a smart watch whose smart features do absolutely nothing?

    Should able to get more better watch face

    Takes 15 minutes or longer sometimes to download.
  • Not all that great

    GPS is slow to lock in.
    Useless for swimming-can’t do splits.
    Had three Timex Ironman before this, and they were better for their era than this one is.
  • Broken Again

    Even the newest update doesn’t fix the DST issue. Please fix the problem.
  • $129 paperweight

    I love the watch but it’s basically useless if it will not sync. I contacted customer support and was told it was an issue with DST and to delete and reinstall the app. I did that. Still, will not sync. It will not even pair with my iPhone. The solution evidently is to take a photo of my phone and email the photo to customer support so the issue can be escalated to an engineer. It shouldn’t be that difficult to pair and sync a watch. The only positive thing I can say now is at least I returned a second one I had purchased and planned to give as a present.

    Hello. We apologize for the inconvenience. We have pushed out an update to address the DST issue. Kindly update to the latest version 1.15.2. Note that if you unpaired the watch from the app you will need to factory reset the watch (settings, device, factory reset) before being able to pair it again.   • Timex App stop working after daylight savings

    I deleted the app and reinstalled. I cannot log back in with my pervious email address.
  • Great bang for your buck

    So far I’m liking the watch and the feature I’m surprised to find I’m enjoying the most is the sleep tracking it would be nice to see a little more information and maybe a little easier it allows you to set goals for everything else the watch tracks too except sleep that seems like an an easy addition but maybe others don’t desire at many sleep oriented functions? Love the brand Timex and I’m looking forward to seeing what improvements they make!

  • Not Syncing

    I think the app has potential but it’s not very consistent with syncing. I’m currently having an issue getting my workouts to sync after removing/readding the app and restarting the watch. The app gets stuck at a 100% sync but isn’t syncing my workouts. I’ve tried unpairing, signing in and out and still no luck.

    That being said the app. is worth it and good enough to the point that I’m still tinkering with it to try to get it to work...I just really want to review my HR zones from my last swim session...

    Hello there! We apologize for the inconvenience. We discovered today that we have an issue occurring with both R300 and the Metropolitan watches. Where after you do a workout and sync it with the app, it sits at Syncing 100% forever. We have escalated the issue to our developers and we are now currently working on a fix for this issue.
