  • Great game, Ignore down votes!!

    Great game guys,

if your into space ships, Grinding, being the best at everything, sitting on piles of isk and modules like a hoarding dragon and then blowing it all up to smithereens, you should get this game!!!!!

New players are given trainer ships that can be replaced with vouchers, that they can receive from daily log in rewards!!!!!!!

When you start, join a corporation and do both the basic and advanced tutorials, otherwise your a blind man driving a Lamborghini.

The game took a beating when it launched because it’s known from Eve online, it had issues with amount of players, new players had difficulty with tutorial (which has been updated), and it’s free to play up until tech level 8, which is most of the way. (Apparently some people expect the developers to not get paid for working).

You have to pay to play beyond tech 8, which is what nearly every other MMO does, (wow past lvl 20), (runescape members content).

Give the game a chance, play the game until tech6, then decide ;D

  • Fixed <3

I love EVE Online, and Echoes now too. Everything worked perfect and it’s brilliant to play but for now some reason star gates getting to and back from Jita takes hours now. I have waited up 4 hours just trying to get back from Jita and too. The 1000 max is completely points and making me now want to unstall the game completely and cancel omega.

Developers you all have did a great job, but fix the god dam star gates am not waiting hours to get around even when it take ages to get stuff done solo.

FIX THE STAR GATES GOD... only issue I have with the game.

After all the recent updates to the game with the developer being so kind giving all players SP during downtime to fix important issues to the game such as the gate problem which seems to be working much better and so many other improve I have changed my review to full 5 stars.

One more thing devs, please add more ships maybe after few months once other important changes have been made. I need that Orca hahahahaha. But thank you devs for porting this great game and actually making it enjoyable for new players unlike Eve Online. Echoes Rule

  • Can’t use on iPhone

Looked interesting but simply can’t read the small font on my iPhone. Need iPad or something larger.
  • Insane how far we’ve come.

This game is astounding for a mobile game. Simply put, the negative reviews are from people who are used to having their hand held by tutorials until the learn everything. It’s more complex that that. Yes it has tutorials but it gives you the freedom to decide how you complete them. The game is vast, probably one of the largest I’ve ever seen. There is plenty to do whether you are the type of player that likes combat, resource gathering, etc. The economy is self sufficient and one of the best aspects of the game. The problem is that there is minimal explanation for how to navigate the galaxy and the many interfaces at the start, so it’s going to take a lot of asking questions in help chat rooms and watching various videos to get your bearings, especially if you’ve never played EVE before. Hence the negative reviews. People are quick to judge when they don’t understand something. This game is beautiful, complex, expansive, and a hallmark achievement for mobile gaming. Thank you devs for giving us this wonderful sci-fi experience

  • Great game

Happy to finally see a phone game with no pay to win you can fully play without paying and be the same as someone who pays
  • Where is customer service?

Response to developer: please see the 5th sentence. I’m in a warp when I start up and then it freezes after 5 seconds.

The game seemed pretty great. Joined a corp and even paid $5 for the month. But I’ve been stuck in a warp for a week and haven’t been able to get in touch with anyone from the game to fix. Tried their email and discord many times with no response. I’d submit a bug in game but the game freezes after about 5 seconds while I’m in the warp. At this point I’m counting the $5 as a loss and just abandoning the game. They recently had quite a long maintenance issue and they compensated us generously in skill points. Unfortunately, the bug fix they performed nor the rewards they gave do anything for me while I sit in a pod unable to play. Oh, did I mention my ship was somehow destroyed in the warp? So, I’m actually just in a pod warping to who knows where. I’ve always wanted to play Eve, but never had time to sit at a computer. So I really wanted to play this game but I’m afraid this experience has just ruined it for me completely.

Would be 1 star but the game is free so 2. I just chose to drain $5. Would probably be 5 if the game worked for me.

Dear Pilot. Would you please submit ticket in our in-game service system by entering the game - 【Settings】 - 【Get Help】 - 【Customer Service】. The in-game service system will have your game account information and it will help to solve your problem more efficiently. Thank you for your kind understanding.
  • Not your average MMORPG

I understand people’s concern that there is a pay to play element in this game but the free to play aspect does still allow you to progress in the game but just at a slower pace. Concerns about market trading and other things not being accessible are more down to a misunderstanding of the game mechanics than the features not being present for non paying users.
All that being said, for 5 GBP per month you get access to one of the most truly expansive mobile games I’ve ever played that’s actually feels like your building your character and not just grinding away at the same missions day after day. Also the player interaction possibilities are second to none and the graphics are mind blowing for a mobile game. Yes there are some teething problems but they will be sorted I’m sure in the coming updates. If you love space and battling other players in real tactical battles, not just set piece 3 character against 3 character combat then this is the game for you.

  • A Rare mobile game for serious gamers

This game is a very detailed, in depth port of the popular EVE online. If you like long terms games that provide a lot of variance On how you play without a pay to win platform you will love this game. It requires deep understanding of game mechanics and strategy to succeed. It’s highly geared towards cooperation with others. I love the subscription model that enables a way to support premium content without messing up the UI with tons of annoying pop ups and overlays. I also love that you can earn real world currency (plex) via I’m game currency.... within 1 week I had earned enough to pay for several months of the Omega subscription ($45) IRL money. Many of my Corp mates had already paid for an entire years worth. The in game economy mirrors real life market economics as well.... based on supply and demand and prices reflect the impact of scarcity and adjust up and down accordingly.

  • Give Asia Their Own Server!

Good game and CCP is fixing bugs at a good rate but the game is PACKED full of asian anomaly bots! Seriously, 2/3rds of the online players are asian and most of those are bots.
Every systems chat is filled with asian isk (currency) sellers. Third party companies are running bot programs to non stop farm anomalies and it is absolutely ruining the game.
Please CCP force asian IPs onto their own server.

I have screen shots of activation gates at scout/inquisitor anomalies surrounded by bots that thankfully so far have not been programmed to activate gates. Their program clearly warps their ships from anomaly to anomaly by “x” amount of seconds with no targets on grid. That is why scout and Inquisitor anomaly gates are just surrounded by chinese named players. These anomalies are the only ones with activation gates to send players to “rooms” to fight npc ships with final rooms having 3 very valuable lootable containers.

My main source of income is bounties paid by killing “rats” at anomalies but most of it is stolen by asian bots.

Please separate asian players from the rest, not just because of the insane amount of bots but the language barrier. Or, maybe just call the game Asia Echoes?

I have nothing against Asia or Chinese specifically but their shenanigans like most online games is ridiculous. I mean, you keep asians on their own server in Eve Online...PLEASE do this in Eve Echoes as well.

  • Changed my review! Great game. Rubbish support.

I’ve been stuck outside my home base system for 3 days, due to heavy traffic? What a joke! The game can’t support the number of players. So I am just sitting there waiting to access my ships and equipment.
Got this game straight away. Chose my race and got going. At first I thought the game was quite good. Awesome graphics and a linear approach to levelling up. After about 2 hours I had accumulated some loot and wanted to sell it on the market. Only to find out you need an Omega account that will set you back £5 a month or up to £15 a month for skill point boosters. There would be no point playing it if you couldn’t sell your loot, so to claim it’s not pay to win isn’t true. Clearly, as players that pay can sell their loot and buy better ships and equipment. £5 a month isn’t that bad really though, as you don’t always have to pay each month. You can accumulate a lot of stuff, then sell it, then revert back to F2P at the end of the month. I do believe in paying something towards free games if they are good and you are gonna play them quite a bit. It seems fair to the developers etc. I will now be paying the £5 a month for a while and see how it goes. I do like the ship trees and their new descriptive names. (Omen Sniper for example for a tech 2) It helps you understand and remember their roles. Overall definitely worth a try. If you don’t like it, don’t pay for the Omega account.
