Still unusable
I gave it a try despite the bad reviews and I regret it. Navigation tab bar randomly loses its background and is hard to see its buttons. The explore section causes crashes very often when navigating back and forth between categories. While scrolling in a section, it will automatically reload it randomly sometimes, making you lose track of what you already scrolled through . Also while scrolling sometimes will confuse a swipe gesture with a click, opening videos you did not intend to open. All this experience in 24h, I’m done. The only way to contact them is via email… they don’t even have a proper contact-us form. I’m speechless, incredible bad service.
Update: they got back to me quickly and immediately issued a refund. Changing review from 1 star to 2 for the prompt customer service, but devs still have a lot to doShow less«Kyor»
Awful! (Update: Worse!)
N.b. “The Insane Engineering of the Space Shuttle “, wow, such fresh content. Five episodes about the Space Shuttle in the last year. Ugh.
UPDATE: It is still bad, but somehow still found room to get worse! I’ve been on for six months and there have been no updates, no improvements to the obvious and glaring flaws in the app. I really and fully hate this service, there is nothing redeeming about it. Most of the “creators” haven’t posted anything new in years.
What content there is, is shallow and there’s just not much. But what makes me want to unsubscribe (most) is the awful, awful, player. You can’t pick up where you left off, you can’t make playlists, and YOU CAN’T PICK WHAT PLAYS NEXT; you may as well listen to the radio. At least the radio doesn’t need to be restarted after every song. I could keep griping, but this app isn’t worth it. NRNShow lessCleverhanz

Nebula is amazing, but the new version of the iPad app is now completely unusable. It’s locked to portrait only, even when viewing videos, with no way to rotate it. I now can’t watch anything using the official iPad stand and have to use the website instead.

Better than it used to be.
I can now browse when I’m watching a video, but the casting is finicky and doesn’t always work. I don’t like using airplay as that limits me being able to browse while watching.skoosc
Really disappointed…
Not as much history content as I was expecting and the ones that I like are already on YouTube. I was expecting more exclusive content. Their browser is not optimized to allow you to quickly find what you like. Very disappointed. I’m definitely not going to renew…Jean1291
Great app
Incredible content quality from great creators from around the web. I promote Nebula to friends constantly. The web interface does leave a little to be desired but I have enjoyed the smart TV integration and the iOS interface greatly. Highly recommend.yejana
Just dreadful
I love so much of the content on this service, and I really want to support what they are doing, but was forced to cancel due to constant bugs, crashes, infinite spinning wheels that resetting/reinstalling the app would not resolve. It was just too frustrating when I wanted to watch something. Often I’d give up and just do something else. My service and internet speeds are strong, and all my other streaming services work fine. So I’m forced to conclude its just poor functionality. And even besides the ways it’s broken for me, the recommendations are generally pretty poor and don’t seem to be based on what I watch, the search function isn’t great and there’s no quick way to continue watching where I left off.Show lessDan Doolan

I discovered this service through various YouTube channels. And, it was a very easy choice to get my favourite creators commercial free, by subscribing. And, after nearly a couple of years I have had zero regrets, and have nothing but praise for the content creators.EvilTrickster
