Updating to state: Customer service offered an additional 15% off to lower the overall increase in cost which was a win/win in my mind. Appreciate the support from customer service!

The worst scam ever
We spoke with the captain of the boat, we paid entirely the fees and…. 3 days before the date of the trip they canceled the reservation saying that the boat was unavailable for us as it had been booked by other people before us.
We didn’t believe a word. We had invited people on the boat with us and paid for their accommodations and trip and all this to see our reservation for the day canceled.
Such a bad thing never happened to us before, the organization of Boatsetter are completely unreliable and Alan the captain of his boat is a clown.

Disappointing Experience with Unjust Deactivation
After this experience and considering my needs for flexibility in communication and more reasonable service charges, I decided to move my listings to another leading boat renting app. This platform offers a better fit for my requirements, allowing for easier interaction with potential customers and at a cheaper rate.
It’s disappointing to have to leave a review like this, as my initial interactions with Boatsetter were positive. However, I felt it necessary to share my experience to provide feedback on the areas where the platform could improve, particularly in terms of flexibility and understanding towards its users.
