XYO Driving the Future
I started using Coin about 2 weeks ago and will say that going pro and paying for a membership is worth it. I have already 35k XYO and it has only been 2 weeks. Something I would love to see in the future would be to incorporate a way to see all geoclaimed areas that you have and how much you have made from each. It would help out the end user a lot. Also, when opening up the coin app you guys should incorporate like advice before getting to the main coin page to mine. Just small tips to help out newer players. Keep up the great work XYO you guys are really going to be huge in the future.

Highly recommend this app if you get a sentinel or two :)
After I purchased a sentinel, I received heaps more coins, actually I received 400 XYO in just 3 weeks after connecting the sentinel with this app.
And I only opened the app 2 or 3 times a day, so that’s pretty good.
Also they have added a screen saver option in the settings which means when you go on road trips or even just to work, you can open this app and collect coins for free while you drive, without burning your phone screen.

Beware: SCAM
I recently purchased the SentinelX and downloaded COIN because it seemed like a good way to kill some time and possibly make some money. I ordered my SentinelX for about $12. No biggie, I thought, it’s a small price to pay for something that could make me some cash. Little did I know, somewhere along the way of purchasing my Sentinel, a subscription was added. It didn’t show up in the final receipt for my order, and wasn’t mentioned at any point during the process of purchase. At first I didn’t notice because of the 7-day “free” trial for Plus that evidently came with my purchase. Upon receiving my SentinelX I looked at the packing slip and noticed that they’d added the 7-day trial. Immediately after finding out about this I checked my bank statements and sure enough, $25 had been taken out of my account for my monthly subscription to COIN plus that I never authorized. Don’t fall for the scam, I’m down almost $40 and have nothing to show for it.

Great potential, but needs more.
I’ve been geomining for a couple days. It took me a while to jump on the bandwagon. I like to research everything before I jump into it. I really like what XYO is doing. I’d go with a higher rating, but the app lacks in a couple areas which I’m sure will happen over time. One major thing the Coin app needs is some type of Low Power mode. Like any GPS based application it drains the battery of a phone extremely quick. If a low power mode was implemented it’d help. Another thing I noticed is while it will track location it doesn’t do anything else while running in the background. Most of the time I have the coin app up while walking or driving or any other occasion you can think of, but there are times when I need to use an actual gps for directions to a place. Allowing the app to mine while running in the background would be an absolute plus. I’m waiting on my sentinel to arrive so I have no personal experience with the interactions of adding that device, but I’ve heard good things. Other than that keep up the great work, this project could become very useful for a variety of applications.

We have recently implemented the Background Rewards feature, which enables users to earn COIN in the background. XYO is not failing it’s.......
XYO is a great new revolution that we all can be part of. All you need to do is open the COIN app and do you. If the app is open you collect XYO tokens. They are a real incentive to have people picking up geographic data to help build an alternative to gps owned by the people (you and me).
XYO can be exchanged for real money just like a crypto currency and it costs you nothing to use the app. Security is important as rewards are given for genuine data and false data can stuff up the integrity of the location data that will eventually be available to us all.
COIN app has to be open to collect XYO it doesn’t work in the background. Keep checking back for updates as it just keeps getting better.

Buggy and Unsatisfying
My mom had me download this app because she invested in their geomining kit. They are supposedly well funded and their project is backed by top investors.
First of all, the sentinels seem to provide no real effect to coin collection. We have several sentinels on and placed around the city (because of various work places) but no significant change in coin collection has been detected. The app will tell you that sentinels are detected however.
Second of all, there were no instructions online or in the box for the kit; I had to figure out how to set everything up based on the available general knowledge. I contacted customer support several times, but I was consistently redirected to the same general resources I have reviewed repeatedly already trying to find an answer to my questions. I read each article to the last word, yet still my questions remained unanswered after clarifying specifically in different ways.
Third, the app itself only collects when the app is open. This wastes both battery and data, so if you think you are making money I believe you are sorely mistaken. You require 10,000 coins before you can make your first cash transaction, and my mom has had it open literally every day on her way to work for over a month.
Finally, we just discovered some form of bug today; my mother had collected over 7000 coins now and was very proud. But today, she opened the app and all her coins disappeared. Basically, she has to start from scratch.
For those that have rated this app 5 stars, please explain to me why you have rated this app this way and how this investment was actually worth all the money my mother has put into this project.

Great start could do with a few tweaks
I have started mining on coin while I wait to receive my mining kit. It is great that there is the auto collect feature now that wasn’t there before but I think a great way to improve this app and perhaps make it slightly less of a drain on the battery would be to allow it to run in the background so you don’t have to be on it constantly in order to mine. It means you would get all the data collected during the day and night unless the app is shut down and we would be able to actually make money mining while we go about our day or have that as something I get access to when you purchase a mining kit in order to give people more of a reason to buy the kit as opposed to just sentinels. It seems like a no brainer to me.
It would also help to have an explanation as to what those puzzle pieces are in the inventory and how or where you can collect more of them, how the amount of xyo per mine is calculated etc. There just seems to be a lot of unexplained stuff currently...

Coin App
All I got to say is get on board be for it’s to late. The app is very first time friendly and is great fun for to go for a walk or a run or both with the app and earn XYO will you do it. Motives you to go to that next street you might find one of them very rare drops and get a nice bonus XYO.
XYO is failing.. read how
They are so at the beginning it was great now is not, first you can withdraw any time after u hit 10k coins and now I need to wait 14 days after u created ur account witch gets hard for people to continue using it because they don’t understand if it’s real or not. First issue 14days is dumb
2nd issue, if you do get to do 10k tokens and u withdraw they put u in another waiting period to withdraw again witch is also dumb.
3rd I heard from a lot of people that have poor internet connection that their accounts are getting blocked for what they call “ spoofing “ witch I guess is changing ur gps signal. The problem with that is that they do not understand that nor they take that into consideration. I really want this app to do good but it seems that at the end it will be another failed project. I did buy 3 mining kits spending over $1200 hoping it will do good but the more I see the more I notice they are so strict that they are going to lose the little costumers and workers they currently have.
I read a article that a guy name “ OvoRoman wrote and I believed it. I never seen that guy put anything fake out there but I think he also affiliated or believed that this will be the next bitcoin to find out its failing . So XYO if you want people to stay and you want us the believers to continue believing stop becoming so strict

Great app and still room for improvements
I have a few suggestions you guys could possibly add in future updates. The first one is instead of tapping the pick axe to mine you can just simply hold it down or have it do it automatically for you. Secondly I think that people that own a Geomining kit should be allowed to keep mining the same spot over and over again without waiting for it to replenish and yes I know this might make it more easier to get coins but I think it would help people that don’t have access to data on their phones so they cannot mine when they are away from home and I think that it will make it really hard for new people to start mining and collecting coins and another Idea I have and 100% should be is the sentinels mine for u and also do what they are programmed to do which is gather data
