Don’t download
I gave my information to only find out it’s a Chinese malware that hacks your phone and deletes your data and steals your personal data. The reason your on the 6 month waiting list is to make you think your being considered and less likely to focus any further attention on the app itself because in your head your thinking “well nothing suspicious can happen because I’m on the waitlist.” Well no that’s how they got you, while your busy waiting, they are stealing your information and using it. Needs to be more clear about what they want
There should be a disclaimer that your account can’t be private. Would be nice if they allowed second tries but oh well. There’s so many other ways to verify a user without compromising privacy on meta accounts. Not relevant to me but it’s interesting how they’re advertising “thirst traps” on their app but have that being one of the conditions to get you disapproved if you do the same on instagram.
