Finally, a healthy alternative for social media users!
I have been using collective for about a month. I love it. It delivers on all of the promises that social media conglomerates lie about. The community is small, close knit, and supportive. Everyone is encouraged to share their thoughts and creativity in a healthy and aesthetically pleasing way. Users do not see follower/like counts which eliminates envy and competitiveness that typically runs rampant especially within the queer community. In short, collective is a breath of fresh air. It’s modern, sleek, and an excellent escape for queer individuals. Collective is queer owned and operated and so far there are no marketing schemes and advertisements like F***b**k or In***gr*m. I love the app because I’ve been able to curate and cultivate a space that I feel freedom to express myself personally artistically and creatively uncensored and share amongst people who are like minded and looking for that same exact connectivity and space. A Special Space
I joined Collective about a year ago when a friend invited me and I quickly learned it has a special charm to it that other social apps don’t. Queer art, fashion, culture, and ideas saturate this space without the pressures of likes and follows. No one is trying to sell to or influence you here either.
