App will not open it just crashesyeoman 94
$20 bucks for the hard cover book, $1 per caliber in the app..
So they give you a some free load data but for the popular loads you have to pay a $buck to unlock the data for each caliber. If the data was laid out better it might be worth it but the cartridge info is in one place and the bullet in another. It’s nice to have the data on your phone, the caliber, bullets and load data is easy to locate. They do give you a note and range card area for personalized information. It’s an ok app just not great..Show lessynotjf
Can’t get it to open?
Won’t work, page loads then closes. No options to look or purchase anything for it. If it shows up on Apple Canada it should be able to be used/purchased.Redwoodfarm

Downloaded ok, made me create account and then blank screen and error msg.MaryR!
Too buggy to be useful
Absolutely love Hornady products but this App is useless without purchasing the full edition. Although the offer to purchase data by cartridge at $.99 or 1 Hornady Point is made, the website interface is nonfunctional. Attempt to correct the problem through customer email was unsuccessful. Even after a long awaited App update, the problem persists.

Forbidden?
I used the app before and it worked great, I paid for it and everything to get the latest and greatest. Tried to use it again today and I’m getting all sorts of messages and the most common is forbidden. I uninstalled the app and loaded it on again same message. What’s going on I have some reloading to do and your app is failing?Show lessgig xbk
Pointless if you don’t have US billing address
Unable to unlock cartridges due to a glitch on payment screen. Requires a valid “state”, well, what if I don’t have one?!Khor48
Great but could be better
Is basically an easy to use app version of the manual. With a subscription it gives you access to updated information sometimes not available is published versions yet. Also with a subscription you will get a printed version of the 11th edition when it comes out. I really like it a lot.
It would have gotten 5 stars if the range log section was more developed. I’d like it to have fields to fill in for velocity, bullet type, powder charge, extreme spread, standard deviation, group size, firearm used, etc instead of just an open note section.
All in all though I really like it and I think it’s a long overdue development from Hornady.Show lessBig Daddy Hobbs

Ok so I thought “awesome! I can pay $5 for just the cartridges I reload and save on buying the whole book.
First problem was that the app doesn’t do standard in app purchases. It took me to the Hornady website to do a traditional credit card purchase.
Ok, that sucks but I can deal.
Then I discovered the purchase page only supports US purchases.
Well it doesn’t matter. I remembered I already bought the whole manual on Kindle.
