Chinese owned app
Lark is owned by a Chinese company, so that means privacy is handled differently and your personal info can be turned over to their gov. if required. As long as you don't mind them having your personal info, I guess you can use it.Lark is underrated
It’s been a game changer in our organization. We have a 20 something person team in the media space. Beats slack for communication, both internally, and with external people. You can create department with them.
It has a lot more than just messaging tasks, calendar, and a competitor to Google Docs. most apps that try to do everything do a bad job but this is an exception. The worst
This platform is quite literally the worst platform I’ve ever used for work. I can’t pop out a document… so any time I click out of it it goes away. In case you forget your own name there’s a watermark of your name all over everything. There is no organization to the messenger part of the platform. In slack your groups are in one place and individual messages are alphabetized. This is not the case for lark, it’s a giant cluster and very difficult to find the convo thread you are looking for. It’s a wannabe google suite but it’s very very very far away from being even close.
