Loved the app from get go! So easy to set up profile and meet like minded people on here keen to try different sports. Have various levels to choose pals from, be it beginner or intermediate or advanced. The leaderboard and stats option provided in the app keep the competitiveness. They also have coaches available at decent rates if you want to get your game up a notch. Really happy to have joined it and loving it!Show lessBhav98muds

Just downloaded this for our platform tennis group in The Villages, Florida. Thanks for making it user friendly but can you make the time zone changeable please? I have to set the match two days in the future if I want it to show up for tomorrow in America. We are SO yesterday. 😂Farmer Brie

There are pros and cons to this app.
It is nicely designed and easy to use but every time I open or return to the app I get the ‘In-app purchases are not allowed’ warning dialog come up (I have IAP off by default) which is really annoying.
There are lots of people and clubs/locations listed on the app and adding a missing sports centre was quick.
Sadly however the number of no-shows is quite high and so far only about 50% of people that have joined a game I have created have actually turned up making me wonder how many accounts are real.
Also in the last few weeks the number of games other people are creating has dropped off a cliff. Previously I would regularly see a dozen games available to join using my preferred filters (like location, skill level, time etc) but for a few weeks there have been no matching results and occasionally just one. Even expanding my filters doesn’t change the results. I’m not sure if this is a bug or a sign that other people aren’t using this app.

I’m really impressed with the functionality of the app. I started play badminton casually few months ago but finding a complete crew for doubles every week was sometimes impossible (planning with adults is like herding naughty sheep sometimes😂). Racket Pal came to the rescue as now I was able to invite total strangers to games and it worked brilliantly! You just set up a game, and wait for the people to tag along. You add the players you want to stay in touch as “pals” so it grows your little sporty community. After a month of trialing I played much more games than I normally would and I now have 12 badminton pals haha very clever way of keeping social, active and elevating your skills. You learn from more experienced players or you get to coach players less advanced. All in all very good experience.
Creators of the app are very responsive and open to feedback so they were always keen to listen to improvement suggestions or minor bug reports.
I’ve seen the community of my local centre players grow so rapidly in just a month - so I’m excited to see where the app will take experience of playing racket sports in future!Show lessSourMarshmallow

If you’re playing a lot of tennis and want to find more players that can fill the week with even more this is a really good place to start. For a week in advance if you’re in london you will 100% find a player to play with. Same day is obviously tougher but it’s definitely worth you putting a message on a big local court chat. This is a great and a great idea.
Unfortunately nobody uses and it’s just full of inactive users. So MeetUp is still better to find racket pals.
