A game changer for the average household
This app came as a life saver at just the right time. With cost of living through the roof this handy app makes it easier to do a grocery shop. So far so good with pricing everything has been spot on!
Shopping easy
It’s easy checking for special and competing items in other stores and it makes so easy to save Dollars by just checking this app for a few minutes a day
So great!
While I shop 80% of the time at Woolies, I love buying in bulk when things go on sale and Wiselist has been a godsend in that regard. No more checking emails for sales when I can just out all of our basic staples in a list and check it quickly on wiselist. Love it.
Doesn’t work
Says my zip code is wrong but how can it be wrong if I’ve never given it to the app to begin with
Great potential, but needs some improvements
I have not found a better app, but am hopeful some improvements will be coming.
It would be great to see some more flexibility and customisation.
Pros:
- Great comparison of Coles and Woolworths prices side by side (best I have seen so far!)
- Stores your loyalty cards
- Easy to use
- Price totals for each list so you can see how much your shop will cost
Cons:
- Does not have Aldi prices
- Can’t rename lists
- Can’t add new lists
- When you delete from a list, it deletes from all lists (unless I am doing something wrong?)
- When you add an item, you have to add it to one of the pre-made lists, can’t keep it only in the main “My List”
It would be great to see some more flexibility and customisation.

Needs some improvements
Conceptually this app is great for comparing products but requires a few tweaks.
- the product search needs to search Aldi, not just Cole’s and woolies.
- when checking out the app compiles all items in you lists, even the ones that have been marked as purchased or in lists that arn’t required. This needs to be fixed.
- every time you update a item in your list, the app refreshes and boots your view to the top of the list, then you need to scroll down and find where you were up to, very annoying. Please fix!
I haven’t pitched via the app yet due to the above mentioned issues, but will consider in future.

Couldn’t get it to work
I’m not exactly tech illiterate but I couldn’t get anything to add to any list. It just kept saying my list was empty but then when I went to add an item it said it was ‘already added’ - super frustrating. Wanted to like and use this app. Seems to work for others. I’ve deleted it already.
If it’s something to do with the settings and not a glitch then the UX designers need to be fired.

Privacy - asks for date of birth when signing up
Why do you need my date of birth when signing up? If it isn't needed you shouldn't ask for it.
The app is good at comparing the same product across Woolies and Coles but it would be better if it could compare equivalent generic products, e.g., 500g chicken thigh fillets, 500g minced beef, unbranded decaf coffee, etc.
