Dissatisfied

Does not do videos.

Response from developer

Hello. It indeed doesn't work for videos. It is for photos only.

Just did not work

It could not find the photos on my iPad. Everything you asked to do said you had to upgrade to the pro version. Useless waste of time.

......

Thanks for reply. I have not had time to investigate the suggestion but it would have helped if the program had mentioned it at the point when the upgrade was plugged. I have given you two more stars.I was too harsh.

Hello. Nowhere does it say you have to upgrade to see your iPad photos. However, if you look into the app settings screen, you will see a link for "Support". Tap on it and see the reason why you might not see your iPad photos. It is most definitely because you didn't grant the app access to your photos.

Show all without location. Needs reverse option

I'd give it 5 stars and buy if you can reverse that feature. I would like to see all that has location and remove it

Response from developer

Hello. The Pro version has an option to highlight photos that are missing location data. This can be used to surface photos that DO have location data.

Not good enough

The title says it all.

Response from developer

Thank you for the version constructive criticism.

Not worth it

It does a copy of the original photo on each edit/save 🤦🏻‍♂️ also riddle with ads.

Response from developer

Hello. There is an option in the app setting to not create a copy but to simply overwrite the original.

Stopped working a few weeks ago

I’ve used this app for years without issue. About 3-4 weeks ago it stopped working as usual. After I select a photo and “remove all metadata” option, it now keeps all Exif data. 2 months ago, all of that would be deleted. So, if I re-select the same photo and use the “remove Exif” option, it will not remove the Exif.

2-3 months ago, I’d select a photo and all, & I mean all data was removed except for the photo itself. The photo metadata/Exif page was just blank. Not anymore. Now it looks like a CVS receipt after “remove all metadata” or “remove Exif” operations.

This was a once great and simple app. It’s not working even after deleting and reinstalling it.

Hello. I'm not sure what you are referring to. I just tested again, and the app removes all metadata except for value that are inherited from the file, such as file name, size, resolution, orientation etc. These cannot be removed.

It’s been a great use…

This was a great app, I purchase the pro version and it was okay! But now iOS 15 added their own metadata feature on their photos app, so thank you, I will not be needing this app anymore.

Great Program, GREAT SERVICE

The program is exactly what is needed to change the GPS on a batch of photos

The technical issue I had was answered and correctly resolved within 10 minutes repeat 10 minutes

This made me so happy I immediately bought Sebastien’s matching compress photo app…. Works just as well

Thank You Sebastien at EXIF METADATA !!!

Free?

Why do I have to add my credit card information if it’s a ‘free’ app? Is it possible to actually user the app without adding card information!

Response from developer

Hello. This app does not require to enter your credit card information. There is not even a screen or anything asking for your credit card info, which leads me to believe you are mistaking my app for another.

Best metadata editor for jpg files

This is the best & easiest metadata tag editor that I have found, either on iOS or Windows, and it embeds the metadata in the jpg files, rather than creating a sidecar XMP file.

Only downside for me is that it doesn’t seem to have a function to access & update files in cloud storage such as Dropbox or OneDrive; even if it only accessed them& stored the updated file on my iPad / iPhone, it would be a major enhancement for me.

Other than the above quibble, fully deserves 5 stars.
