Cumbersome
It has some great features, but they’re hidden behind a cumbersome UI. I have a medical condition that requires tracking three times a day. I need to be able to quickly update my symptoms and enter metrics, like temperature. When I update a metric, I’m unable to see earlier entries on the same screen, so it’s unclear if they were even entered. It’s important to see that immediate trend because that’s an indicator that I need medical assistance. The home screen is daunting and has far too many choices. The app should ask some simple questions upfront to isolate the choices that are most relevant to the user. It should show trends within a metric when a user updates that metric (like earlier entries) and the “check-in” process should be easier. The emojis just feel childish when you’re dealing with a serious medical issue. Ultimately, I wanted to keep these bc the capabilities (after you enter everything) seem to be much better than the other options, but the other options allow me to quickly see what I need to see at a very basic level, so I went with another app.Show lessLABeachGuy

I’ve downloaded this app a couple of times but have failed to use it because I cannot find any information as to how they address privacy. What they do with our data or what they do not do with her data. I’ve clicked through the app and I’ve gone to their website. I’ve looked at the menu on their website and I’ve scrolled down to the bottom of the page for the usual contact and about section. They just doesn’t seem to be information readily available on privacy. I would think that a product like this would be screaming about privacy and data sharing. Maybe they have it somewhere but it shouldn’t be this difficult to find for a savvy app user. I haven’t researched if they’ve had any data of breaches yet, but I will be doing that next. it’s great that they highlight how robust their features are, but they focus on that over privacy is a concern to me. I took a screenshot of the bottom of the webpage links, but I’m not able to post it. I encourage people to look at this section before using because there is no highlight or mention of privacy and that is such a red flag, considering this is a healthcare app.
Edited to add viewing on mobile site (iOS) via Brave, Safari, and Chrome and that their privacy statement can be found via a web search but it is woefully lacking. For instance, it states a bit about using Google credentials, yet it doesn’t state anything about using FB credentials, etc. it is a scant, boilerplate statement with holes.Show lesstodd5065

This app has a lot of great potential. I paid for the 1 time upgrade and have been satisfied thus far with the level and the detail of tracking.
However, I like that it is cross compatible and I can use it on my Mac, but every time I want to use the app on my Mac, I have to delete it off the Mac and redownload it to sync my phone responses…and if I do anything on the Mac, it will not even show up on my phone…so that is extremely frustrating with how much you have to pay either a year, one time, or a month, everything should easily sync without issues. Using app for a week. Set up was easy. Daily check-ins have already been helpful for newly diagnosed RA symptom and health tracking. App has the ability to keep track of an amazing amount of information, all in one place, which will be extremely valuable as disease and treatments progress over time.
Only confusion was how to get the complete paid version. It turns out the free trial is followed by a subscription fee for the complete version, which I plan to continue, as I anticipate receiving great benefit from this app.Show lessAzorgal

Very disappointing. You're limited to tracking only 3 symptoms unless you subscribe. I've got multiple conditions and was looking for an app to log all my symptoms for all my conditions so I could remember them all and report them to my doctor, but you can only track 3 symptoms in total. Literally just 3. Not to mention being constantly bombarded with ads for premium with every click. Total waste of time. This app had potential; it would have instantly been 100% better if it lets you add however many symptoms you have. All the other restrictions with factors and whatnot are tolerable, but the restriction to log only 3 symptoms? I can barely track anything with that. It's totally useless. If you're looking for a similar app with unlimited symptom tracking, get the app called Bearable. It is so much better and so much less restrictive.Show lessskrrt skrrt noogins

I've got chronic back pain that's been haunting me for a decade and I've tried just about everything under the sun. This app isn't a magical cure, but it does one heck of a job making my life a little more bearable.
It keeps track of everything, from my pain levels to my sleep quality. There's even an option for me to track my physical therapy exercises. Now, I can talk to my doctor with facts and figures, not just vague guesses. I really wanted to love it. It seems to do so much more than any other symptom tracker.
I wanted to track my chest wall pain and was 100% sold when I saw ice baths were trackable in the therapy section too 🥳
I entered my ice bath yesterday, I entered it this morning. I had a pain at 7 pm CT. Entered that information. It said I had 3 check ins and a 2 day streak - perfect
I added the water temp this morning but it didn’t look like it added to my entry this morning. I edited this morning’s entry. Updated. Go back to home and both baths have the same temp 🤦♀️ had to adjust yesterdays temp (that was fine before I adjusted the other one). Back to home and only 2 check ins. I searched all over but found no record of my chest pain symptom.
I said - nope I’m done and deleted the app on the spot. I might as well use pen and paper for my symptoms, that’s just not as easy as having this in my pocket.
This app has a great UI and so much customization, but if I can’t get it to keep track of the only symptom I have, it’s certainly not worth any amount of money. I’m not going to say it wasn’t operator error, but I’m pretty good with apps, reading, watching how to videos if I don’t get it. Everything seemed pretty straight forward how to use it. Additionally, when you say ‘home’ are you talking about the Today screen or the checkin screen? This is the best app iv found so far that works with my apple health app importing my info. It helps me keep track of my symptoms, feelings throughout the day, the weather, taking my medication on time.
However anytime I log any symptoms after I log it and see my results it freezes on that page and can’t go anywhere else. I have to shut the app down and go back into to do anything else. Very annoying wish this could be fixed. If this was fixed it would be a 5 star. I’m very busy most days and don't have time to keep shutting it down and reopening that appShow lessS.ary

I have an autonomic disorder and I really wanted this app for the data analysis. I was hoping to be able to easily track my symptoms so I could recognize patterns. But the symptom tracking part is such a pain to manage, there’s just no way I would have time to wrestle with it every day. Difficult data entry is a deal breaker for me given the number of symptoms I need to track.
I gave this 3 stars because it has potential and is probably worth it for people who have less complicated conditions, but the user experience is lacking across the board. It feels like the UI is organized according to the backend data structure instead of the user process.Show lessjesdk301

You can’t so much as look at this app without creating a login account on their servers. There should be a way to look at it, test drive it without needing to create an account on their servers. But they didn’t build it that way. Another potential customer gone.
My reply to the developer’s response:
If I want my data backed up and synced, that should be an option that I choose, not forced on me by making me create an account on your servers just to evaluate the app. I would think you’d want to make it as easy as possible for people to try your app, decide whether it’s for them, and then create an account if so. That’s what most apps do. You’re losing potential customers because people don’t like things being forced on them. And, sorry, I’m unable to update my rating because I can’t see your app because I won’t create the account that you demand. And if you think I’m alone in this, you’re hindering your app’s potential. Hello, The reason we require an account is so your data can be backed up. The data is also used when syncing across multiple devices. Everything is secure and encrypted. Additionally you are also free to use a disposable email through Apple's login. If I have answered your issue, consider updating your rating and review.
