  • Thank you!!!

This is such a helpful tool! Not sure how lost I would have been on Google without this app. Plus you never know which sources to trust… I definitely trust Melanie and any information she provides.

I’ve recently taken charge of my health and paid attention to my digestion. This guide will help me rule out and remove intolerances and make well-rounded food lists. Thank you!!

  • Great App!!!

I was looking for a list of lectin free food list. This app. helps me to confirm if any food I eat have lectin. It is very user friendly and easy to use. Thank you for making this app.
    I am a fun!!!
  • Clearest and easiest list you never knew you needed!

Love this easy app. Have been showing folks whenever intolerances comes up in conversation. So glad I found it!
  • Excellent comprehensive app

This is detailed and thorough, using this app I figured out I’m actually histamine intolerant rather than being sensitive to FODMAP food as the drs always suggest whe they give you the ibs diagnosis. It was 5 years of low FODMAP diet but still occasionally getting symptoms for me, then got this app and combined with using a good food diary i finally deduced I have histamine intolerance! Highly recommend this is you have a random intolerance, mast cell activation syndrome, or have no idea what’s going on with you! It can be several things ( I currently also react to lectins as I’m in a flare but once you go on an elimination diet of the foods that trigger you for a month you give your system a chance to calm down and can then start reintroducing foods to see how you react! So glad I found this app thank you!

  • Fantastic app

Melanie has done a great job with this app! Heck, all her work is great - I love her podcast too! Highly recommend!!
  • I’d love details on oat milk , and water chestnut flour ..

Update : I was wrong , about only being able to add 14 foods to a list, I figured out that you can do this , just don’t try to add the same food twice to a list, 😂 app is pretty good, it takes some of the guesswork out of trying to figure out what I can safely eat, I have a total of 30 foods .. somewhere where we can add custom foods suited to self might be a good idea too as HIT and MCAS is so individual and time spend searching internet would be good to be able to add to personal list and record foods that aren’t listed , I’d like to know details on oat milk and water chestnut flour and would love to see more foods added along the way that are both histamine and oxalate free.

Initial thought 💭 ”App is good except that I can’t add more than 14 foods to a list , if we could create a bigger list I can make a “Safe foods” list ..”

  • Poor ui programming

Fodmaps are all grouped together which is a bit limiting as I don’t want Oligos but don’t mind polyols, but I have no idea which one of the 5 is high.

And for some reason I thought I would be able to search for a food based on the categories. Eg foods low in amines, low is sulphites, high in something else... but can’t do that.

If I drill down into a food, then tap a different category from the scales, the ui fails again. Tap back and get duplicate high/low options that actually go to different lists. I get high/low fodmaps twice but the 2nd pair actually show thiols.

  • So so

This has a nice easy to use format. But the lists are not very complete as an example tuna is not listed even though that's a very common food. Many other foods are missing as well. As an example eggs and egg egg whites are separate entries but there is no entry for a whole egg which many people feel is safe to eat. Disappointing because the format is very easy to use and the ability to create lists is very helpful. This app has been around a long time, sadly they have not added more foods. There is no information about food additives which cause symptoms for many people.

  • Easy & informative

I’ve recently tried to cut out histamines and gluten and this app has helped me so much. It’s really easy to make lists of foods that you need to cut out or things you’ve tried that you need to avoid. It has mostly all the major foods you would question. Definitely recommend.
  • LIFESAVER!!

As someone recently diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder, this app is an Absolute Lifesaver. Not only is it informative & well-organized, it’s well-made with a unique, clean design. I am impressed on multiple levels: as a software developer, as a user, & as someone with autoimmune disorder.

Thank you Melanie for making this!!
