So frustrating!!!

Never works! Crashes all the time... and since there is no physical thermostat to adjust the temp, it either crashes and I freeze all night or I can adjust the thermostat because neither app works!

Connection issues

Good app overall. Definitely has glitches. My biggest thing, likes to disconnect and then takes a long time to reconnect. I live in this RV full time. Special ordered my Pinnacle in Dec and it was built in Feb2020.

Things that need improvement.....
1. Being able to stay connect when you close the app (disconnects even when inside the RV and then takes a min or two to reconnect when you reopen the app....might as well use the wall switches)
2. Closing or opening slides, buttons on app are not accurate and you have to hunt for the right spot with your finger to get them to work.
3. Absolutely NOT accurate on the tanks. Useless for this feature. I do a lot to maintain my tanks, but this doesn’t help at all. I know tank gauges have problems in every system, but this is ridiculous.
4. I have a factory installed generator. It will turn the generator ON, but WILL NOT turn my generator off. Annoying!!!
5. No instruction manual. All the manuals I received was for the OLD system. I called Jayco with my VIN and they gave me the same manual again. I am winging this thing. (I want a hard copy in my hand too, not some website)
6. Tablet will not stay connected to my internet. It connected to my internet before and I can see it’s paired, but doesn’t like to connect. And yes, I have GREAT service. Not the cheap freebie park service.
7. Would love to program my buttons for lights on the bottom of the tablet, but once again, I can’t because I don’t have an instruction manual to figure this thing out.

Is it a good app and system? Yes.

Is there glitches and room for major improvement? Oh, ABSOLUTELY!!

Awesome sometimes

2020 JAYCO Eagle - This is a great app when it works. It’s a bit slow to load when I turn it on (Bluetooth) but that’s not a huge deal, just a little annoying. The remote function is where the problem is. It simply doesn’t work.

Great concept.

Works well with us, I love being able to control the lights from my phone and monitoring the inside temp from where ever I’m at, almost like nest. Watching the slides from the inside and out and stopping when needed without yelling. We’ve already had comments on setting up and being so quick and not yelling at each other, my wife and I, and disrupting the park.

Future update??
I would like to see push notification settings, in regards whenever a grey/black tank is full, I monitor the tanks regardless but if one fills before I catch it. Or simply being able to turn off the exclamation icon for our empty fresh tank when we are connected to city water and not in the condition to boon-dock.

Not Two Person Friendly

We live in our RV. We just upgraded to the Pinnacal, and love the idea of the RVGenius. However, we are two people. Only one of us can be paired at a time. This is not acceptable.

There are many times when both of us need access to the panel through Bluetooth. Yet, one of us is locked out.

Response from developer

JAYCOMMAND powered by BMPRO supports 4 simultaneous Bluetooth connections, 1 wall mounted unit plus up to 3 phones. You should be able to connect up to 4 devices via Bluetooth, more via cloud. If you still encounter the problem, please contact your local Jayco Customer Service.
