Its just a app to control normal Led Light Strips, not crazy cool advanced strips with so much features and abilities/functions, just a normal good app that lets you control them. I use the Timer one that turns the lights on at the last color and brightens your turned them off at, keep mine at White and max brightness. I’m all, it’s an app to work for these lights and they do exactly that, never ever found the app to be glitchy or not working so that’s all I really need not to happen. :)
App works great love the features so easy to use.
I agree on the music portion the ten obscure songs aren’t bad but I would love to see this app connecting to Apple Music or SoundCloud
I’ve seen other apps that connect with the mic on the phone I would much rather just use the mic on my phone than playing music close to it
The lights ive been having them for more than a year and they still work all of them and the app makes it really easy to change color or how bright they are
I think these lights are good, but because they won’t turn off when I press the off button I’m rating it poorly! When I click the off button the lights just go blue, and it’s not a faint glow either! Extremely upset that the remote control doesn’t work as expected, especially after spending the time to set them up.
Don’t really write reviews, but I wanted to counter all of the bad ones with my positive experience !
This is a review more for the app than the lights. The lights work fine and I like them, not too picky on that front. The app works perfectly, connected easily, and lets me pick any color without extra charge, unlike many other apps. I haven’t tried the music feature if one exists, but I am happy with it regardless. It’s a virtual remote, I don’t see how it can really go wrong.
I love this app but at first the music option wasn’t working for me because it didn’t recognize my music and didn’t play it but I had figured out that I used the mic option and changed up the sensitivity and played one my music and it worked! So now I won’t have to worry about the music in the music options
I usually don’t write review but I thought I should address this. The lights aren’t that bad, they are quite decent and I’ve had them for a while. My biggest problem with them is the app. Not only do some of the features not work but I can’t even connect the strips to my phone anymore. After a bit of fooling around I was able to connect them to my old phone but I I got a new one and it doesn’t seem to want to pair anymore. Also please, fix the guide section. It would be helpful to have more information on different things. At the moment it’s quite useless.
Can I play my own music with these lights through the app? I don’t understand why they would be advertised like that and then you can only play the limited annoying list on the app.
My lights were working great for the almost two years I had them, and the lights themselves are still working alright, though the white seems to have dulled over time. HOWEVER, the app completely stopped working for me last summer and I haven’t been able to get them to work since :(
I know leaving a review is probably pointless since the app hasn’t been updated in 2 years, BUT if a developer does happen to see this please please PLEASE fix this bug, I’d like to be able to use my custom colors again :(
For nearly a year now, they were working just like expected, the app was organized okay enough to do what it needed to, but today my lights completely stopped working. I have 2 sets and they are completely unresponsive to the remote control, this app, and the physical buttons on the receiver- not even a flicker of light. I have no idea why this is happening nor do I have a single clue on how to fix it. I can only assume there is some software bug going on, because physically nothing has changed.
