I knew it would be a great app!
Brilliant, well thought out and fun to use app. Looking at the constant attention to detail which has gone in to the Focos camera app since its release, I knew this would be equally as good, and, it doesn’t disappoint. I’ve been following the build progress of this app for the last year and was eagerly awaiting the release date. Like the Focos camera app, I purchased the lifetime version, which, I think for the work which has gone into making the app, is a very good price. The app has also been very stable in use so far. I have only experienced one crash where I still retained the basic video footage but I lost the layers of editing I’d done as it crashed before I saved it. I think it was the phone running low on RAM which caused the issue. All in all it’s very good app packed full of features!Show lessRichie00007

Way too many bugs.
I’ve used this app for a while and the more I use it, the worse it seems to get. Sometimes you cannot use chromakey without soft locks, frame rate stutters, and the more layers you have in the timeline (which every good video editor utilizes), the more bugs will appear. I've edited my current project for about 10 hours and now I get a “cannot complete action “ error in the middle of the export. It just isn’t worth the hassle. Stick to PC editing if you want it done right, although I give this 2 stars for the amount of features it has.Show lesslehcarwright
Focos live changed my workflow
Really great game changer for creating videos on the iPhone with simple controls and lots off capabilities. Only one very very FAT negative point - You can NOT backup projects to iCloud or external media. I had to reinstall iOs and lost all my work… even creating full backup on mac, files were lost. Music tracks from previous Focos Live versions were lost, impossible to backup anything to continue work on fresh iOS… that’s really disappointing and keep me away from working on it now. In case new iOS updates fail again… as usual do! Waiting to see capability to backup projects to iCloud or any other source! Please work on that !Show lessSevensense_
Best editing app
Working a lot on GoPro videos, but quick can’t give me all the control to the videos I needed. Focus Live is the one greatly reduces editing efforts and provides almost all the tools I need: very continent trim/split, speed control, fade-in/out, text. Focus live could be better once a few stability issues were resolved.Show lessTomas Rain

Decent App… But Not impressed
Has some nice features but I got this primarily for the blur background feature. Which is basic and static. You can use the blur feature if you purchase the app and once you edit in the blur, the blur doesn’t adjust with your movements.
Also if you record using the app.. There doesn’t appear to be an option to delete recorded videos. Overall barely impressed by this App.Show lessJae#1
Re-purchase issue
I’ve just been using the app for a couple weeks now. It’s been great. Although I’m torn between purchasing the pro version as I want access to other things. I’m torn as from other reviews I’ve read it seems I’ll need to repurchase the app again if I ever change it. In my case, I will be changing my phone soon. Is this true? Will I need to repurchase again as it will be a different device.

Focos Live is game changer for computational video and in conjunction with the LiDar camera on the iPhone 12 Pro you are getting a very clean matte from which the bokeh looks pretty natural. It’s not perfect but if you play within their ballpark the results are well worth it 🤙🥰MadeInAyrshire
Portrait to cinematic??
I can’t get into the app because it keeps saying it’s “converting all portrait videos to cinematic mode” and I “can’t exit the app until it’s finished processing”. And I realize it’s transferring all my videos to my phone . I have an iPhone 11 so I’m not supposed to have cinematic mode. I’m not sure why it’s doing this and I haven’t done anything differently. It’s been like this for over a week and I’ve tried offloading and reinstalling the app and it’s still stuck like this. Please help.Show lessLinziiTee
