Settings/track colour settings and bam! Crash! iPhone 15 pro max iOS 18.0.1. Otherwise… it works most of the time. It’s a good start.
Absolutely unbelievably incredible app and Customer Service
I don’t normally do reviews, but I had to take the time to post a review for this app and this company. The quality of the app is unbelievable. It’s like Waze on the water. We’ve learned to use it now to explore areas that we wouldn’t normally even thought about going to or even how to get to. It’s actually amazing. Then we have the Customer Service! There are few apps but more importantly, few companies that have the customer service that this organization has. Jeff amazing if you have an issue you reach out to their customer service email and maximum a day you’ll have your answer just absolutely passionate about what he does and what he does is absolutely amazing.

Easy to plan a route
Great using Argo it is easy to plan and track your routes.
Best app I’ve tried.
I’ve moved from a small waterway to the thousand islands. I knew every shoal and rock where I was, but; now being in the Thousand islands I’m unfamiliar with the waterway and all the shoals and rocks.
I’ve downloaded and tried trial versions of several navigational apps. and have been disappointed. I’m heading out today to a boat show for the weekend 32 miles from home. I’ve used the app to plan my route and to a friends island to visit afterwards. The app is by far the best I’ve tried and the easiest to use. I haven’t used it yet in the boat, but it’s been very easy to chart my routes on land.

Really great app
Easy to use. User friendly. Love it.
And fantastic support. If you like sailing it’s best than any other sailing app. I have tried most of navigation apps for boating. This is by FAR the best one.

Useless in Canada
Paid the yearly subscription price to open up more info. No tide or wind info for the Pacific Northwest in Canada. Nearest tide and wind info is Point Roberts. Useless for me. A waste of $25.99. Cancelled my Subscription.

Sorry if you feel you were misled. Our premium version gives you plenty of additional features, but nowhere do we advertise that it offers more chart data. https://argonav.io/premium/ For Canada we recently signed an agreement with the Canadian government for their official ENC charts and will be making that data available very soon.

Doesn’t support password managers (password field doesn’t trigger it)
I went straight to Windward islands, and SE Asia and neither area is supported. In fact map is locked to North America so either you can’t move it or it shows no data.
Advertised as free but at the top has CTA for wind and tide info.
Routing feels janky. Holding at a spot marks the destination (similar to Navionics) but selecting departure, I can’t do the same.
On the covered areas at least you get depth and markers.

Excellent App and fantastic customer service
This app has pretty much everything one would need to navigate the waters. Very easy to set up and navigate around the app. Customer service responds quickly to any questions or issues. There is also a very large Argo community out there willing to help in any way they can. Don’t hesitate in getting this app. You will not be disappointed.

Amazing app!
I have a 16' aluminum boat with a 40hp outboard and love to explore islands in Casco Bay in Maine. I looked at GPS systems and couldn't rationalize the cost- not wanting to buy a system that cost half of my boat's value.
1 downloaded Argo and it has helped me to plan trips and navigate the waters. I find it feature-rich and easy to use. I often plan trips in my house and it's nice to chart routes and save them to favorites and then bring my phone on my boat. Would recommend to anyone in my situation or for someone looking for a backup to their gps navigation system.
I don't have a lot of friends using Argo yet-although I've recommended it, so I can't speak much of the social tools included, but I can see those being a big plus.
I also highly recommend purchasing a mounting system for your phone to affix to your boat's dash- I did and it's great to be able to reference the maps hand's free while underway. Amazing app! 100% reverend
