Great fishing app
I love using this app I’ve been able to find all sorts of new spots where I’ve caught some good fish I even caught a 8 pound walleye because of a spot I found on this app.
Pay walled but ok
Subscription based model hides a lot of features, but is otherwise functional and handy to back up waypoints and view existing C-map social data. Shame the waypoint icons don’t match what is in the units.
I don’t know why Lowrance isn’t offering one year subscription to highest contributors of C-map social data in poorly mapped regions, win-win situation. Could accelerate coverage.

Pay walled
Does the basic stuff but everything good is behind an expensive pay wall, even typically free stuff like satellite view, even waypoint symbols are limited compared to the units.
Look it updates my unit and syncs my units data to the phone. But that’s all it is good for.
Should not be a subscription model after paying all that money for a Lowrance sounder, just feels predatory.

Best chart plotter and App
Lowrance is the easiest chartplotter to use with a large heads up display and paired with the Lowrance App makes planning a trip simple and safe

Honestly, this app is OK. Only thing I have issues with is it doesn’t update when you use genesis live it does not update on the map I don’t know how to save it to Lowrance so you can get the correct dips and publish that so we can have the correct dips all over the US. I use Genesis live every time I go out on the water and it never saves it. I wish it would update it to Lowrance so y’all have updated maps. Update doing the chip transfer to my cpu to web wish it was easier this tech has been out for a while maps should show more updated deeps and under water ridges and drop offs

Wish this was more interactive with the hds live unit on the boat
GPS doesn’t update dynamically
Purchased an annual subscription accidentally when it auto renewed after the free trial. Should have warned me instead of being sneaky. Now I’m Not happy with the app and would prefer to use Navionics. The GPS only updates when I first open the app. So when I’m out at sea on my kayak and it’s in a fiddly waterproof case, I need to close and open it each time I’m trying to locate the reef and I’m never actually confident I am where it say I am. Really not impressed. For that amount of money I expect it to work properly as promised.
Any chance of even a partial refund or at least a bug fix team?

App will NOT update GPS position on iphone 12 Pro
I have this Lowrance App and when using it it will not update my position on the lake. When I force stop the app and restart it, it then will show my current position. Connecting the app to my Lowrance HDS7 does not make any difference.

App looks great but there seem to be bugs. I can’t get my phone to talk to my Lowrance GPS and the app will not link to my WiFi.

This is not a review. Having trouble using the app. Where do I find instructions… been to the web site, as directed from here and find nothing. You have my apologies if it just because I’m an old man and got no idea of the tech. Got a Lowrance Hook 4+GPS on the boat and can’t find much for that either. Seems I’ve got to rate this to get it on board, doesn’t mean anything because I’ve got no idea how to use it yet.
