I have been searching everywhere for a way to record my continually increasing book collection.
I have looked everywhere including suppliers for libraries to dead ends leading nowhere.
Then my wife tells me about bookshelf after listening to me for years she’s only known about it all that time 🫣
Nevertheless I now have a complete record of every individual book I have.
All organised exact how they are in my bookcases.
I can even take photos of each individual shelf and use each photo of the relevant shelf associated to the correct categories of Tibetan Buddhist practices and teachings accordingly.
This is an absolute must have for book collectors.

Best Book Shelf App EVER!!
I’ve recently started collecting a bunch of books and wanted a way to keep track of all of them! I’ve used nearly every single one of the book-shelf/library apps in the App Store and this is by far the best!
This is what I love about it!
1. Easy to scan - either 1 book, or a batch of books which come in handy!
2. Easy to sort by title, author, date added, etc.
3. Easy to customize or adjust each book by editing, putting in notes (I like to add if the book is signed or a special Bookish edition) and you can adjust the picture of the book
4. After scanning any book you can add it to your library, wishlist, or just check it out if you want to screenshot the information for later use!
5. On top of adding a description of the book, it tells you whether the book is a paperback or hardback which definitely comes in handy when I’m looking for the same books in the series but forget whether they’re soft or hardcover!
Long story short, I’m obsessed with this app and have deleted all my other book sorting apps because they are of no use to me! :)Show lessA Pass Buyer

After losing every book I ever owned in the Paradise, California Camp Fire, I began collecting books again. This time, I had the Bookshelf app to help me keep track of what I had purchased so far. It makes me feel very secure knowing that if anything ever happens to the books I have collected so far, I will have a record of my library to give to the insurance company (or lawyer) if it's necessary.
The fact that this app is accessible on any computer makes me very happy because I know that it will never be destroyed. I recommend this app to anyone who is a serious collector, or to anyone who just wants to keep track of the books they have.

I’ve tried several book apps, and this is by far the best. It has all of the features I wanted, is easy to use, and it looks good.
One request I do have - maybe you can make it an option in settings - is that I would like my box sets counted as individual books for a more accurate number of books to appear versus only counting the whole set as one book.
For instance, Throne of Glass by SJM has 8 books. However, scanning the box set to show in my library only adds one book to my overall book total. This can be remedied by scanning each individual book, but I have multiple copies of some books that I collect and would like to record them as accurately as possible for cover references.Show lessnrbrous

I am notorious for buying multiple copies of the same book on accident, mostly because I have a lot of books in storage and I’ve never had a catalogue to reference… until now! The Bookshelf app has been a lifesaver for keeping track of all the physical and digital books I own. It’s super easy to use—includes a reading tracker, very intuitive sorting tool, and a make-your-own tags feature, which I love—and offers great storage (I’m at 812 books and counting).
