  • Great port!

I can’t tell you how great it is to be able to play this on my iPhone. It’s literally the actual game from the PC. My only nit pick is that on my iPhone, everything is very small, especially the fonts of the dialog. It’s readable, but very tiny. Those with eyesight issues may need to wear glasses or use a magnifier.

Controlling things like screen rotation, zooming, and movement, using the touch screen, takes a lot of getting used to, especially if you’re used to controlling things with a mouse and keyboard.

And now for the feature request: I don’t know how feasible it is, but I would LOVE for the Construction Set that comes with the PC version of Neverwinter Nights to be included too, or at least available as a separate download. I LOVE building adventures and maps for Neverwinter Nights, and having the option to build adventures and maps in a portable way on my iPhone would be really great. I don’t know if the toolkit would be usable on and iPhone but I would love to have this anyway, for completeness.

Great job on this port. I never imagined that I would be playing this game in something the size of my palm!

  • Good but unstable

(Update) Found a problem in the Infinite Dungeons module - the lock of hair item the hag gives you that converts a monster to a companion makes the new companion not respond to attempts to talk to it and any summoned creatures it spawns attacks your party even though it's not set as hostile (which means you can't attack it to kill it).(end update)

Overall pretty good, fun to play. Brings back memories. Quite a few problems though, some of which were in the original too, like pathing of characters can be pretty bad at times and enemies can get trapped behind open doors, making them hard to attack. If too many bodies/enemies around, can be hard to impossible to direct attacks/looting. Some UI issues (like some map points not showing their labels when tapped, some buttons like Pause being so small they're easily missed, causing you to walk to where you mis-tapped). After playing a while, phone heats up a lot and sounds start dropping out. But the worst is the freezing - sometimes after only 20 min, sometimes after an hour, but happens maybe a third of my play sessions.

  • Please add controller support

Love the game, touch controls are fine, I prefer playing with a controller like when I’m on my console. Thank you.
  • Game crashes and I lost my quick save data

Game itself is 100/100 please fix this problem
  • Crashes when saving

This game often crashes when you try to save and you lose all of your progress. You lose all of your progress even from successful saves. This is an OLD issue that this company is just not fixing.
  • Will this game be updated?

I’ve recently bought this game for my iPad with a view to putting it onto my granddaughter’s iPad as she has shown an interest when I’ve been playing it. It seems to work great on the iPad but I’ve come across an issue which could spoil that. The game seems to have been put up here by Overhaul games - whose list of games is more or less the same as Beamdog who created the EE version of the game for PCs. However, Beamdog has now moved on and the development seems to have been taken over by members of the community. The problem is this. Official content works fine. It is even possible to add small custom items to it. Until now, I’ve also been able to create modules in the toolset that comes with the game which I can then play on the iPad. However, the same module won’t open on the iPad. I’m guessing as it doesn’t recognise the updated version from my computer. This doesn’t strike me as a huge problem for the developers so is there any chance of them updating the version on the store so custom modules will work again? Thanks. and again, this is a decent port. I’ve given it 3 stars but happy to upgrade that if toolset modules can once again be played.

  • Fantastic But Crashes ).

Great game but crashes and often loses recent saves, great game but crashing a real issue (
  • Needs backbone support

Would like to be able to use controller for this. Considering this was released on Xbox too this should not be a problem
