Great port
I’m having issues with loading the free dlc I plan on purchasing the rest of the dlc when I get the chance I’m just hoping you folks can fix the issue thanks. Updated review the dlc is working fine now honestly it’s a great game so far.Deadpool7532
18 years on and it’s still got it.
So many fond memories of this game, I wondered whether it was worth taking the risk and whether it would still have its appeal. Well I need not worry. I’m hoping the persistent servers come alive with new players on iOS.Dokko
10 Star version of a classic
The mages at Beam dog/Overhaul have crafted a wonderous thing! This rework of the classic BioWare game is perfect. I have gladly picked up Planescape, BG 1&2, and Icewind Dale from the same creators, and they are fantastic. This EE is beyond even those reworks. The game play/ controls are easy & the graphics capture the feel of the original while polishing some of the rough edges that were there due to the limitations of early 2000s tech.
The in app purchases are well worth the $, as they expand the game further and let the player enjoy other parts of Faerun. Now if Beamdog can get Wizards to let them convert classic D&D modules to expansion packs for NN:EE, then there will truly be magic left in the world.Show lessdeCalverhall
Key parts of game does not work
I really want to give this game a higher score, but right now so many little things cause crashes, or I’m forced to restart out of them.
The quickbar is extremely buggy, and a pain to customize. copying scrolls causes a hard crash, so you can’t play a wizard. You can’t spontaneously cast healing spells, so why play a cleric?Items cause you to go into aim only mode with no way to exit besides a restart. It is frustrating to put the time in on a character and not having basic features work.
I don’t know how some of this stuff made it through QA, I’m discovering them in the tutorial and the very early game. These are issues with the most basic character classes. There really is no excuse for sending this product out, asking for 10 bucks and having so many issues. Starting to think this is a blatant cash grab....
I’d strongly recommend not buying till they release patches to resolve the control and basic class issues.Show lesssalesninja
Knocked it out of the park !
Video, controls are smoother than the PC version for me. One crash in quite a few hours of gaming. Overall - this is a A ++++ release. Nice work Beamdog !Donczirr111
CD key for multiplayer missing and other issues
A great game and a solid developer, but the release is filled with bugs. I can’t access multiplayer because I need a ‘CD key’. Not sure what that’s about but uninstalling and reinstalling the app doesn’t work to fix it. Also lots of crashes- for example when trying to learn a spell from a scroll. Overall- I expect beamdog will fix these issues but wow- there are a bunch. Wish I could play multiplayer....Show lessDemandred99

Hello! The bug with learning spells from scrolls is a known issue which is already fixed on PC. A future mobile patch will fix it on Android & iOS. Edit: And it's fixed now. Enjoy playing as a wizard!This could be a 5star

One of the best DND games comes to IOS. If you enjoy DND you must get this game. So much depth and amazing customisation. Given how many hours you’ll spend in Neverwinter it’s one of the best investments you’ll ever make game wise.Ginetti78
An amazing blast from the past
I have put many hours into this game on the PC many years ago and when i saw it was now on IOS I was so excited and I haven’t been let down!
The game runs very smoothly, the controls are easy to master and it’s great to see an awesome game like this on a mobile platform.
