Superb

So easy to use compared to the BluOS app and node 2i I had been trying to use. Effortless and vastly superior sound compared to the node with the CXN V2 Streamer. Worth every dollar.

Match made in heaven

Very sceptical to start with - why do I need an app to listen to music - but now .... A convert! It's like their audio equipment it just works. Easy to use and good updates. The only time I get near my Evo is when I need to physically put a record on the attached deck.
When technology and craftsmanship come together this way it delivers so much more. My music, my way, without compromise. Keep up the good work.

Still waiting for recycle bin in USB hard drive to hide

When browsing music library in USB hard drive, system folders like recycle bin and system volume information aren’t hidden like they’re supposed to be.

Hi Clarence, thanks for updating your review. Your request has been noted and is part of our backlog. While we can't promise anything immediately we'll queue this up for development. Kind regards, Cambridge Audio

851-N

My unit worked fine until this last update and now I cannot see my cover art, it will connect to my unit (851n). But nothing happens I have checked IP address, only thing is my unit has wired Ethernet cable. I’ve checked my iPad and iPhone and my Mac book. The problem is I cannot connect airplay, it does not even show up when I click on it.

Hi, we're sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your 851N, would you mind sending us an email to streamagicapp@cambridgeaudio.com. Could you let us know which version of software you are running on the 851N, and did you recently update this? Thanks, I'm sure we can solve this problem for you, thanks for your patience, Cambridge Audio.

Finally sees all my NAS music!

As of this latest version, I am now able to fully browse my library from within the app! Before, all I could see were the folders, without the individual tracks, but adding the album to the queue would still play the music.
The layout on tablet is now much easier on the eyes, making better use of landscape view real estate.
Queueing to my CXN V2 is as quick as ever.

Works well, could use a few enhancements to be perfect app

App works seamlessly with CXN V2 and can browse through my SSD FLAC and DSD music collection fairly fast. Could use a few tweaks to make it perfect.

Wish list:

1. Volume dial doesn’t show relative position in app despite being connected to CXA81 via control bus.

2. No way to play all of music collection with a push of a button via app

3. No ability to create a favorites list

4. No ability to create playlists

These added features would make the system more amazing than it is already

It's always great to receive feedback and we're so pleased to hear that you're happy how the app works with your CXNv2. Unfortunately, due to some hardware constraints, it isn't possible to get the relative position of the volume knob for display in the app. However, your other suggestions will all be raised in our next planning meeting and we hope we can incorporate a few of them in future releases. Kind regards, Cambridge Audio

Regular updates…hopes for the future

This app is now solid, stable and is always improving. I’d like to thank the developers for their regular updates…nice to see the return of the grid view of album art from the last update (the last feature I missed from the original CA Connect app and implemented better in StreamMagic, worth the wait). I also love the short videos detailing the updates which appear in the app, a nice way of communicating the new features when the new versions of StreamMagic arrives. Really hoping for support to view pdf inlay booklets in the app. It would further improve the app and allow us to see some of the great covers and booklets the artists produced when they released their albums. Thanks again!

App keeps dropping off the screen

Ever since I updated my iPad mini 4 to IOS15, the app is unusable, keeps on disappearing from the screen. Very frustrating.

Response from developer

Hi, sorry to hear that you're experiencing these issues with your iPad. We'll investigate this as a matter of urgency. Thanks for your patience while we work on this. Kind regards, Cambridge Audio

Clearing recently used apps

Is there a way to clear recently used radio stations from the home page?

Response from developer

Hi, thanks for leaving us this feedback, unfortunately there's not a way to remove them but we'll add this suggestion to the list of new features for discussion. Kind regards, Cambridge Audio

Terrible App

Absolutely no explanation from Cambridge about how this app is supposed to work with CSXN V2 or enhance the use of their equipment.

Shocking how oblivious Cambridge is when it comes to supporting and communicating with their customers.
