Amazing game! Only one big issue...
I started playing this game yesterday, and I got so sucked into it that I just couldn’t bring myself to stop playing until I’d finished it! I love so much about this game: the calming atmosphere; getting to learn about ocean life; the fact that you can wander off to swim with the dolphins, orcas, etc. or just look around and the game won’t yell at you to finish your goal! And unlocking free dive at the end was really the icing on the cake.
Unfortunately, I did have a problem with scrolling in the sub. Trying to scroll through the log or the free dive menu in the sub was basically impossible as it would just bounce back to the top almost immediately.
Besides that, my only wish for this game is that there was MORE! I wish there were more animals! I wish you could interact with them a bit more instead of just one scene with the dolphins. I feel like this game has so much more potential!

Bad port of a good game?
Really enjoyed this game and was looking forward to another game by this developer after playing Never Alone some time ago. I completed with a few crashes but the bigger issue is the sub area between dives appears to be pretty buggy. For me the game usually crashed when a dive was completed and it was trying to load back to the sub, and all the sub interactions that involved a scrolling menu didn’t work properly - including the free dive menu you get after completion, meaning some areas are permanently closed because you can’t scroll to them. The music player also seemed entirely broken, it did not respond to any interactions even though I still got the associated achievements for interacting with it. The dives themselves were enjoyable and rarely buggy and the voice acting in this game is very high quality. Worth playing in spite of the bugs, and if they could be fixed it would easily be a 5-star game for me

Amazing
I couldn’t stop playing. I was surprised with the quality, and really appreciated the video clips from actual biologists and divers—entertaining and educational. Makes me wish to dive, but also peaks my interest into the ocean. Great job you guys, I really appreciate this game!
Very good game
There were a few glitches here and there but I figure that’s just because I have an iPhone 7 I’m looking forward to them adding to the game if they ever do it was very eye-opening about what happens in the ocean and other things that happen in our world but not everyone knows it out I was happy to learn a bunch of new things about sea creatures and other events that happened in Ocean I was kind of sad when the one whale passed away but other than that overall it was a really good game

Good Game, but.....
I played this for 3 hrs. Saved game. Returned to reload one of two stored , and my version on both iPad Pro and iPhone 10 (both iOS 14.2) loaded to beginning of a new game. Erased all saved content. I enjoyed this unusually gameplay enough to give it a second try. Then would reload. Either a corrected upgrade or a glitch (on my end?). I’d recommend playing a short time, then making sure you can save then reload before committing more time. Would be a wonderful game without this episode. Great graphics, and fun to learn as well.

AMAZING!
This single game is the only decent game I’ve seen on Apple Arcade so far. It takes about 3/4 hours to complete the story and then you can do free play mode. The scrolling is extremely messed up when you’re in the sub, but regardless, if you’re considering getting Apple Arcade then get it just for this game.
The controls are a bit odd at first, but sensitivity levels can be changed to fit you. You do NOT need a game controller! The settings say something about it but I’m pretty sure they didn’t intend for that to be apart of this or something. The character is female and no other choices because that’s just part of the story.
The level of detail is amazing. I only wish they had some more stuff that comes after the story, and that free play is available throughout the game and not just after completing the main story.

Would be 5 stars, but...
First let me say, I LOVED this game! The gameplay, visuals, learning about the animals, the overall idea of being able to explore the ocean.. it’s great! My only critique is that, for me, I experienced glitching when it came to scrolling. In the submarine, when you go to the center room and click the area that allows you to view all the animals you’ve scanned, it’s almost impossible to scroll to the bottom of the screen. When I attempt to scroll through the list of sea creatures, it blocks me, and keeps auto-scrolling back to the top as I’m attempting to scroll. Almost like I’m playing tug of war and losing. The same is true for the free dive menu that you gain access to after completing the game. I can’t even access all of the areas of the ocean that I’m supposed to be able to free dive in because it won’t allow me to scroll. If this issue wasn’t present, this app would be 5 stars for sure!

Beautiful Blue
This game is absolutely stunning from start to end. My only regret is that it did not last longer. Also I wanted to know what happened to the leather back turtles😆 the sounds and the graphics were all amazing and the controls were easy to use. Very informative aswell! I would like to see another game like this...perhaps an extension of this story or a beyond blue 2??? Either way I would like to continue exploring this beautiful blue world and unlocking more mysteries.
