Never works
I have never works keeps telling us to keep the app on the phone and the plug on the same Wi-Fi. Even if the plug is working with the home app on the iPhone it fails to recognise the Cygnet app. Extremely frustrating and disappointing, Will never be buying Cygnet products again.
Dose not work 95% of time
I could not get the hub to quick pair and could only add the hub using HomeKit.
After a lot of research, seeing the bad reviews that your hub is getting and how so many people couldn’t get the hub to quick pair, I decided to cut my hours of wasted time and return the stupid thing to the shop. (Stupid is the correct word)
This is the worst product I have ever bought and the app is below standards, you can’t even search for remotes and no alphabetical order.

App bad plug ok
App is the worst
Plug is ok when it connects but if it loses wifi connection then all the dramas start again
Have just tried updating firmware and have no idea if it is working or not
I would suggest to everyone to not purchase this plug and instead spend more money and purchase the eve

Works OK
The UI may be rough, but the app and the products do in fact work. I use a number of power plugs and an LED lights strip as a TV backlight for many months now. No issues whatsoever.
Apple should remove this app and force them to stop using their logo
Shocking application, does not work and if you take a look at the app settings it’s not requesting network access so this says the app is not iOS 14 compatible.
Also there’s no privacy information on the app or website, that’s a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles thus I’ve reported that.

Great products - lousy app
Excellent products that work well across Siri, Alexa & Google, however, the app is terrible. Thankfully, you can bypass this app and make use of the devices in the HomeApp.
As a request, it would be great to have the option to change the background picture on the app or offer a plain coloured background. The picture of a white heterosexual family really doesn’t represent the wider community nowadays.

Piece of rubbish
Can’t even connect the bulb to the internet through the app. Just get stuck on the connecting part. Tried everything
Terrible app
Won’t connect to the internet half the time. Logged me out, and now I can’t log in, nor can o register a new account as the verification email never arrives.
Thankfully I can still use the lights through my home app but this app is useless.

Clunky
It works but some controls need improvements. The intensity sliders are hard to position; would be nice to be able to input the numeric level by typing. Also a feature to sync multiple lights on the same patters is missing.

Poorly engineered App and Smart plugs
Not only does the App not work on Quick Pairing - as many other people have pointed out for over a year and it still doesn’t work - but the Smart Wifi Power Plugs continually disconnect from Wifi and need to be depowered and repowered to reconnect. I have tried every possible way to configure the plug pairing (through the Cygnett App and directly through the Home App) and changed router configurations including giving the plugs their own 2.4G SSID but they continually disconnect after several hours. Absolute rubbish. Have now returned all 4 outlets to Big W for refund and bought Eve ones instead. The Eve ones might cost more but they are reliable unlike the Cygnett plugs. These devices should not be sold. Even reviews on Cygnett’s own web page say the plugs disconnect randomly.
