Finally, the 4th update to the Southwest Prime App is making the App easy to use, which results in fast service. The App begins with: Where do you want to go? Type in where you want to go. Next click on: where do you want picked up from? Type in where you want picked up. Click on the Request Ride button and you will see the ETA of your SW Prime Van. About 5-6 minutes before your van arrives, you can see the van close to your pickup location. Reminder: Be ready for the van, before you Request a ride. The driver can only wait 3 minutes. If you think the van driver will wait longer, the driver gets a call from the dispatcher & tells him/her to leave if the person who requested a ride, is not walking toward the van. Usually, a ride will arrive in 2-3 minutes or 5-8 minutes. But if the weather is cold, rainy or snowy, there will be a longer time for your SW Prime Van driver to arrive. No matter what, be ready when you Request a SW Prime ride. If you Request a ride at the end of the day, remember to wait until you arrive at your transit stop. No one can predict when a bus will arrive or if problems develop!
