Unnaceptable Platform Security
I do not feel safe having this system guard my apartment, but I have no choice. A few issues/suggestions:
- Offer MFA. Right now anybody who has access to my email has free access to my apartment.
- Send notifications when codes and passwords are changed.
- Allow me to hide/ lock down some areas of the app- the app will show your address in plain text!
This platform is significantly less secure than the average social media platform. The developers seem unwilling to address it based on messages I have sent with my concerns.
If anybody wants to start a really simple phishing/burglary ring, here is your target!

PLEASE ADD A DARK MODE!
App works, i feel it would be improved with more integrations such as with google home and hue lights, also please please please add a dark mode so at night I can change the temperature without being flash banged! Thank you!

1. **Shortcuts Integration**: Please add support for Shortcuts, or alternatively, add a voice command feature within the app to open and close the door. This feature would be especially useful when I'm parking and have my hands full with groceries, so I wouldn't need to take out my phone.
2. **Apple Watch Compatibility**: It would be fantastic to have the app work seamlessly with Apple Watch. This would add an extra layer of convenience for users who rely on their watches.
3. **Dark Mode**: Adding a dark mode option would be a welcome addition, making the app easier on the eyes in low-light conditions.
4. **Temperature Settings**: Please include the ability to set the temperature in Celsius. This would cater to a broader user base and improve usability.
Overall, the app is great, but incorporating these features would significantly enhance the user experience.

Not safe at all
This by far is the sketchiest thing ever. The notification doesn’t even work when someone enters my home. Let alone it’s default is that you can press that key bad numerous times to gain entry rather then locking out an notifying you. I don’t feel safe after what I just learned in my own experience an feel this is a way to make us pay even more for a feature that is worthless.

Lackluster and my landlord charges $40/mo for it
I wish this app had Siri integration, and I wish the thermostat scheduling options weren't so rigidly tied to Home/Away. Also, when editing Smart Scenes, a lot of the action properties aren't saved properly unless their value is edited back and forth from the default value. Also, the thermostat controls don't automatically push the opposite setpoint when hitting the delta limit like the actual thermostat does. Additionally, it seems that you can't update the setpoints rapidly because it blocks on a full network request for each individual change. Overall, I am not impressed, and I wish my landlord didn't have this mandatory fee.

Thermostat doesn’t actually work
I’ve tried so many times to use the app to set my thermostat, I use it while I’m in my own home and it still doesn’t work. The app doesn’t change anything on my real thermostat. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app and still nothing.

WiFi issues
Ever since the most recent app update my thermostat can no longer connect to WiFi in app and I can no longer access / control the thermostat or lock from the app. Would you please fix or update this? Thank you!
Appears to be a scam.
iApartments equipment was installed in my complex without anybody’s consent. None of their products work. The door lock has been dead since August (for 7 months as of this review). The panel went black within 2 months of installation, it should be fairly easy to change the battery—good luck getting them to come out! As of December (3 months, as of this review) the thermostat has been broken. I was left without the ability to heat my apartment in the dead of winter. Getting them to come out and fix anything has been impossible, yet I’m still paying a monthly technology fee for technology and services that don’t seem to exist. The thermostat had to be removed and replaced with an older Honeywell thermostat just so I can heat my apartment above 58 degrees. The hub doesn’t work. Absolutely worthless tech and worthless company. Avoid at all costs.

This app stinks
Cannot reset the door passcode from the randomly generated initial passcode. The thermostat schedule does not accurately maintain the right settings. User interface is wildly lacking.
If you’re apartment managers force this for you and plan to charge you another $20/mo for the service, like mine did, then they hate you.
