Good but doesn’t show face
Overall great to use but a major downside to the app is that it doesn’t show the face so would love to see an update for itcliang2000

Always crashes, videos always go into “Uploading”, I wish there was a better app
I am not the one to write negative reviews, but loom is the source of my frustration. I often record tutorials for students and pay annual fee to loom. The app doesn’t work very well on any of my devices. I use Mac, latest iPad, and Chromebook. My personal pet peeve is when I make a tutorial for 10 minutes just to find out that the video didn’t upload. I reinstalled, rebooted, restated, contacted support - it’s such a waste of my time.
I wish my time of this review won’t be wasted and Loom will do something about it. I am looking for alternatives, so please advise. I currently have dozens of videos that are “uploading” - that’s hours of my time and energy wasted. That’s it.Show lessKatya Seberson
Great idea but needs to be better
Videos too often don’t load. And if they do all too often it takes an hour or more to load.Silverback5130
Useless app!
I am paying substantial subscription for about two years to only have the loom the time I need it! In the past week I had very important sessions that it kept canceling the uploading process after I finished the record, one after another.
I have a quality connection and even I tried different ones.

So Very Broken
This app works about 1/4 of the time and unfortunately I need it for work. Contacting support gets an email with suggestions to uninstall/reinstall the app.
It’s infuriating what a complete waste of time it is to try and authentically be using this app to communicate with customers and have it simply not work most of the time.Show lessClombings

Cannot delete app from iMac
Loom seems to be a decent app, however, when I decided I didn’t want it, I attempted to delete it. It doesn’t come with an uninstall file, and reading the forums and applying the “fix” doesn’t help. I shouldn’t have to purchase an uninstaller to get rid of it.MaloUno

I used loom for computer… and loved it always!
And now discovered that you can also do it on iPad!

So many lost recordings
I prefer to record looms on my iPhone but it seems over 50% don’t successfully record/upload. It’s a pain to re-record yourself a bunch of times and hope your best take saves properly. My videos lose all their magic as a result because you’re on take #10.mrother
