App works with cell data off
I wrote a scathing review earlier because I was unable to use this app for 2 years!! I read many reviews only to discover that turning off cell data for the app will let it work!! And it does just as advertised!!! All users need to know that turning off cell data will let this app work properly!!! 👍

Does. Not. Work.
Paid the bucks to have professionally installed from a reputable company. Should have done more research. App doesn’t work at all with an iPhone. Renders the product and install nearly useless.

I return it, turned off cellular it worked once love the camera sad o had to return, but there were better choices out there why go through this smh
App is useless!
The dash cam itself works great and is compact but if you’re looking for a camera that easily saves content to your phone, DON’T BUY THIS BRAND! The app is useless and doesn’t work to load content. It’s definitely not a user error as we’re very tech savvy and followed the instructions several times without success! The app icons don’t work to load content, forget about viewing it! It connects to the KENWOOD dash cam device in your phone settings and then loads, and loads, and loads!!! Literally loads NOTHING for as long as you allow it. The app basically has the ability to show you samples of what it should have the ability to do! Save yourself from the stress and buy a different, non-KENWOOD dash cam as they all use this same app.

Unusable app
Kenwood should be ashamed with the app it has released, and the fact it has not updated in 2+ years. App needs a complete rebuild from the ground up. I’m going to have to return the dashcam I got as a result and go with a different company
Kind of useless
Only lets you view very recent videos, like just from a few minutes prior. Does allow for east config of the device, however. Clearly Kenwood stopped developing this app.
Is this app supposed to be functional?
I connect to the Wi-Fi from my dash cam and it just pops up a message saying “please wait”… for how long? I stopped trying after 5 minutes of waiting. I really hope I don’t get into an accident until I can find a better alternative app because this is so useless for pulling up the data right away it’s unreal.

Unusable app
Downloaded to my iPhone and got the camera connected. This was as far as I could get. App simply doesn’t work. When I open it it says “please wait” for a nice long time then finally this goes away and the icons are there but nothing happens when you touch them. Once in a while the “please wait” comes back just to annoy you but nothing useful ever happens. Extremely disappointing. I’m pretty sure Kenwood has given up on this product.

Great quaity cameras
Please fix the app so we can manage through our cell phones thank you. Convince of use for these cameras is critical since these are for security purposes. Thank you I’d love to keep the cameras but it’s very difficult to use thank you.
Updates required - doesn’t work on IOS!!
These dash cams aren’t cheap and expensive to install professionally and it doesn’t work! Can somebody fix this I said it hasn’t been updated in a year!
