Great video, app crashes
The setup was easy and fast. Video so far seems pretty good. I am pleased with it so far.
The app has definitely a problem. Transferring of video to your phone is slow. App crashes. The app definitely needs work. Wish I would have read these reviews before purchasing. May have not bought it.
Not really sure I can give it more than a two star as I would think the developers would fix the app based on all the feedback.

Love the camera hate the app
Like the title says, I love the camera but hate the app. It never works I can never get it to load I bought 2 cameras the 4 k for my car and my wife car. But the app ok our new iPhones 13 don’t work please fix the issue. Spend a little more money in getting this resolved. I don’t want to switch over camera because of this always been a KENWOOD fan

Obviously Kenwood couldn’t care less
Junk app. Yes, I followed the instructions, yes I have the correct password, yes the camera says the device is connected. Your app is just junk. Does not respond at all. Camera itself is good, just wish I knew your app is useless and that the company couldn’t care less since there’s been no updates for over a year!

Connectivity doesn’t work
The camera and clarity are excellent but it will not connect to your mobile.

Works fine for me
Suspect most of the bad reviews on here are down to the very poor instructions that come with is this device. Took me less than a minute to figure this out and by my own tinkering had everything up and running in under five minutes. The actual set up process is simple and if you have any degree a tech ability, follow you instincts and you’ll be up and running in no time.

Yikes. Wow. How can a once-reputable company like KENWOOD attach their name to this app? If negative stars were possible, this would be a negative 5. The team who designed the app should never, EVER work in consumer electronics. I’m not kidding. Sheer incompetence at its very worst. There is no conceivable way that anyone of any authority at KENWOOD ever tried to use this app.
Hopefully, after using my cam a little more, I’ll find that downloading videos to my computer will work since the app is utterly useless.
If, after my upcoming road trip, I don’t find A LOT more satisfaction with downloading to m MacBook, I will return this camera and never purchase another KENWOOD product again.

Dash cam is great, the app is not!
Unfortunately the App just continues to loop and doesn’t wirelessly connect. This is a huge flaw since I brought the dash cam for that option. The App needs fixing. Until then use the SD card the old fashioned way.

The app keeps crashing! I can’t even change the timestamp in the settings without it crashing. Why?!
I’ll change the review if I see improvement, however, I don’t foresee that anytime soon. As of this initial review, I’m running iOS 14.6. I’m don’t have my VPN turned on while using the app. Nothing that can crash the app is on… and yet, it does.
The app needs to keep up with the latest iOS system updates, because our personal security should not have to be compromised to run an app… it’s not supposed to work that way.

The app is crap
I’m sorry but this app is completely lost and should be revised. Why did you guys release and camera and made the app so bad. I can’t even open a video without it loading for so long. And if I click something else like INFO the app starts loading again. Please try to review your comments it fix it. Please!!!!!
