  • awful app and customer service

    I signed up for the free trial with the intention to continue to use and pay for this service long term. Unfortunately, I did not get a single shipment in the whole month I had signed up. I contacted customer service because I didn’t want to have to pay for a service I haven’t been able to use and they did not help me at all and basically told me I was out of luck. Don’t waste your money on this.

  • Way to long to ship

    I return items to get my next box I had been waiting for a wee and the items haven’t even been ship. Most of the items are unavailable they don’t have a lot in stock also their costumer service is almost useless. They have nice clothes but so hard to get them if you’re lucky you might get one thing you like

  • Trial never started!

    Downloaded the app and signed up for a trial. Wasn’t very impressed by the selection, and found it difficult to fill my closet with the required minimum number of items in order to start receiving pieces. Waited 12 days with no updates, nothing, and then canceled the trial. Brand selection is extremely limited, so I’m not feeling like I missed out on anything with the trial, but disappointed that there was no way to troubleshoot what the holdup was…

  • Misleading Wardrobe Rental Service - Costly Lesson Learned

    I tried this wardrobe rental service, enticed by their promises of affordable fashion updates. At $59 a month for 3 pieces, it sounded like a good deal, but my experience has been far from pleasant.

    I forgot to return the items within the specified time frame, and the resulting charges piled up quickly. Cancelling my subscription during a move was unnecessarily difficult and inconvenient.

    To make matters worse, due to my move, I couldn't return the items in time. Over a month later, I was surprised to find charges exceeding $300 for second-hand items I never even got to wear.

    My advice to potential customers: be cautious. While the idea is appealing, this service proved costly and troublesome. Look for more transparent and user-friendly alternatives to update your wardrobe without the added stress and expense.

  • NOT slow

    After reading the other reviews I wanted to share that my boxes ship lightening fast! I don’t know if that’s because I’m in NYC, but either way I end up with multiple boxes a month easily. I also love how they get to know you’re sizing based on you’re feedback and reviews they’re recommendations for my size are spot on most times. I also love that I can look back at my history and compare materials and brands for sizing, this is especially true for jeans… nearly my whole Jean collection is from Haverdash now I’ve purchased so many bc the fit is unrivaled

    Not impressed. The clothes take a long time to get to you. You can ship clothes and it’s going to be at least a week before you get new, sometimes longer. The very most you could wrangle is two shipments a month.
    95 percent of the stuff you want is unavailable. I can have 25 items I want and three might be available and those are the things I forgot to remove or the pictures don’t really show what you are getting.. like see through pants.
    The ONLY thing I like is that purchasing products are rather cheap. I have picked up an item or two this way. Just having them ship me stuff I might want to buy and trying it on and shipping it immediately back is how I have had to play it.
    If you get a free “dart” where they ship your clothes quicker their app will glitch and you lose it. I have been offered 3 and only got it once.. maybe.
    Better clothing subscriptions out there.

    I loved how quickly my box was delivered and how there is no limit to try on your clothes. The fabric was soft & thick and comfortable. Clean and most of them fit. Also, its so convenient to have this becuase it even comes with the return bag & labeled. I love it!
  • Availability, clunky cancellation issues

    I’ve rented from most of the major clothing rental subscription services and this one has its good features and certainly it’s most annoying, so I will list them here.

    I love that you can browse items in the app and they release new clothing options twice a week. They have a pretty decent selection but most of the items are basics. What I did not like about the selection feature is that you really don’t get to choose from much. They give you options to choose from the items you flagged, but they include out of season items and not a ton of variety and lack size options for many items.

    In terms of the clothing themselves, some items looked new while others you could tell had been worn and washed several times. Sizes varied - some mediums fit like XL and some L fit like a small depending on the brand. But I tried the service for about 3 months and gave it a real chance.

    What I absolutely hated about the service was that you can only cancel by calling. And customer service kept offering me deals instead of cancelling as I asked. I also have never seen receipts for any of my subscription months or the 1 item I purchased - that info is not available in the app. On its face, it appears to be a modern clothing subscription company with a ton of variety and options for high quality rental of items at a decent price. But you have to pay a small fee for EACH box you request on top of the monthly fee to borrow the items. Not cool.

    I think if they were more transparent about item size availability and allowed folks to pause or cancel their accounts as they are able, it might be worth hopping on again. Until that changes, I can’t recommend this service.

  • They sent me to collections for $27 bucks

    I was a Haverdash customer for about three months. Then after a while decided I wanted to cancel my acct but was convinced to just put my acct on pause for $5 per month fee. The card I had on file became out of date and they could not process my $5 for about 5 months. I had no idea this happened and got a shocking email yesterday noting that they sent my account to collections. For $27 bucks, after 5 months.

    I own my mistake here. I should have cancelled my account when I called to do so in the first place instead of being convinced to keep it going for $5 bucks a month.

    Needless to say, we have parted ways. Terrible experience for me and my credit score for $27 dang dollars. I’m honestly shocked they didn’t just write it off or try harder to contact me by phone. If they cared about their people that would have been the case, but clearly they do not. They are a NO for me dog.

  • Careful

    I used this company after I had my baby. I returned items when covid hit in March. Never heard anything, canceled my membership, or so I thought. And now they are sending me to collections for over $300. I haven’t received any communication from this company via- mail, phone or email. I’m truly disappointed and upset.
