C’est la même app de Pretnumerique

J’étais contente quand j’ai vu une nouvelle app dans mon bibliothèque local. Mais cette app est le MÊME chose de Pretnumerique. L’application Pretnumerique a trop de bugs que je dois télécharger le livre, l’ouvre avec mon ordinateur pour extraire la document ePub, et enfin, la recopie sur mes appareils portables. Sinon, l’application sera bloquée après quelques pages de lire.

Bonjour, C'est en fait l'inverse: PretNumerique est basé sur Aldiko Next. Il existe quelques différences cependant : Aldiko Next est mis à jour mensuellement et se destine à des usages plus larges que la lecture en bibliothèque. Great App with Promising Progress

It’s a clean and intuitive reader.

Feature requests:
1) iCloud Sync (at least as a Premium feature)
2) The ability to read the Subject and Series tags of ebooks
3) Resolve issues when selecting and highlighting text on another page
4) In-app contact email for user bugs and feature requests

Hello, The app already supports subject and series tag from EPUB files, but given the low quality of these metadata, we disable this option by default. Just go to the settings tab to enable it. In order to contact us directly, you can send an email at help@demarque.com. Best, The Aldiko Team

Good now, hopefully better in the future

The app overall works really well as it stands, but it is obvious it still needs some work before I works consider it a daily-driver. Searching through some OPDS catalogs (using both Kavita and Calibre) will often crash when downloading and not display the entire catalog. Moreover, I would love to see more customization options as well as features. PDF's for example have basically no options (would be nice to have option to display two pages at once). It would also be nice to have more format compatibility in regards to comics as well as manga (which doesn't seem to be supported at all). Lastly, OPDS-PS would be the icing on the cake, allowing for book streaming/syncing to an OPDS server would allow users to read a book on any device and keep progress synced without having to download anything

Hello, Our next release targets specifically PDF, with new options to switch between scrolling/pagination, control the reading direction and use a dual page mode in landscape. We'll look into both Kavita and Calibre but based on past experience, neither of them tend to stick closely to the OPDS specification, which might explain specific issues. OPDS-PS falls into the same category as it's not really part of the OPDS specification. Our plan is to build support for streaming comics through the Divina profile of the Readium Web Publication specification, which provides a lot more features than OPDS-PS but it should be possible to provide a bridge to OPDS-PS down the road as well.

An absolute waste of time and money

Not even worth a star. It does not even allow you to reset a forgotten password and the help menu has literally no content other than “not supported”. It is an absolute disgrace.

Not sure where the disconnect is

I had to down this app to read an ebook from a publisher. I’ve tried following the directions from the publisher, looked at the help in the app and still can’t access the ebook. The publisher is not listed in the catalog of libraries, from the publisher end it says it cannot connect to iTunes and I need an Adobe login (I do). Very frustrating as I’d like to read the book on my iPad, but can only do it through the browser.
