Love searching by ingredient. I like that you can save to a “favorites” list so you can find a recipe again. A few ingredients are not recognized/able to be added, but for the many that can be, it is very easy. Some are odd... for example it will take “walnut” singular but not “walnuts” plural even though the recipes match “walnuts”.
One request: would you please add a function like favorites but in reverse for when I try a recipe and don’t like it so I don’t accidentally make it again?

So far so brilliant!
Love it! If it continues as it has then it’s definitely the best thing since sliced bread! For a non-cook and someone who detests cooking but has to do it for a family of 4 this could possibly turn things around. Loved being able to just look in the fridge and cupboards, say what’s there and it records it! Some recipes not there anymore but easily reported and when it glitched I simply swiped away all the open windows on my phone and it was fine - probably more to do with my phone than the app! Total life changer, I hope!

Brilliant- my food bible
This is brilliant, you might think you don’t have anything nice to make & this app will find you 4 thousand recipes to tell you different. Great to keep track of your pantry, your shopping list & meal plan for the week. This 1 app does everything that I use to have to keep in several different places. So many great filtering tools too. If you have something that needs using up, select this as your key ingredient & it will build recipes around that. Want healthy items- filter by low cal, low fat, low carb etc. This will now forever be my food bible. Also feel like I now need to give away my 20+ cookbooks.

Good, but needs some updates
Would be helpful for user to be able to add ingredients that were not previously saved in the app by the developer. There are several ingredients missing, many of them basic staples. Please give users the ability to add ingredients! Could also be more seamless as far as selecting items from my pantry and then generating meals. Lastly, if a meal has less than three stars, it should be removed. It will help to filter through thousands of meals that likely need improvement. Anytime I filter out low ratings, about half the recipes disappear. That would leave a more efficient search for quality recipes.

Excellent app but now experiencing some issues
Love the app and has been great. However recently it’s not been saving my ingredients (even though I’m signed in) so every time I open the app I have to enter them in again. There is no new version to update to, so will just have to wait for the next app update and hope it’s resolved. Once that’s fixed I look forward to using it again as used to be a real time saver!

Have loved the site for years after being recommended it on Reddit. Got asked for the link by a friend I’d spoken to about it previously and was so happy to find there’s now an app!! Great interface and easy to use. Will use it so much more now that I don’t have to use it as a website.

Everyone needs this app!
This is one of my favorite apps! It’s so simple to use, just scroll through the ‘pantry’ while standing in front of your real pantry and tap everything you’ve got on hand. My kitchen is quite small, so I keep a lot of food in my garage. I used to hand write everything I had out there and keep it taped to my fridge inside, this app eliminates so much hassle!
I love that I can search recipes by ingredient, by meal type, etc. I even learned last night that I can filter to include multiple ingredients I have on hand, like ‘chicken’ ‘black beans’ and ‘rice’ instead of just ‘chicken’ and scrolling hoping for a black bean dish.
The only thing that would make this app better would be if there were a way to have a ‘menu’ section - I know there’s one called menu, but it’s just the list of all the potential recipes you could make. What I would like is the ability to tag recipes, and have them show up in the menu section - much like the little heart sends them to favorites. I’d like if I could ‘favorite’ tried and true recipes to quickly find them, but also to tag some of them into a menu section for planning meals for the week. An additional feature could be that when you add recipes to the menu section, if two recipes use a same ingredient, you’d get an ‘are you sure?’ prompt - so you don’t accidentally plan out two meals using your singular box of pasta shells or whatever.

Has saved my bacon more than once... literally
This app is a fine app especially now we are at home in quarantine I have been cooking and cooking and cooking all thanks to Supercook
Some issues... overall good
Accessing the menu and favorites tabs on iPhone XR is annoying.
Made a new account, and there were already 40 “favorite” recipes. Tried to unfavorite them by clicking on the heart (both in the list and after clicking on the recipe), but it just fills in/stays in the favorites. (It’s possible my account isn’t actually “new” and I just chose the same username/password, but I should still be able to unfavorite recipes)
If these issues were fixed and favorites could be put into “folders”, I would give this app 5 stars.

No customer support options in the app
I made an account to try out all the features of the app and while it was good, it wasn’t out of this world and I decided I didn’t need to keep my account. When I tried to delete my account, I discovered that the only settings/support option available is to change my password; frustratingly, there’s no way for me to delete the account.
Nor is there any information available on how to contact the developer. Even the app store’s “app support” button just takes you to the app’s website homepage, which doesn’t have any additional information!
The lack of contact information, and the fact that it’s impossible to delete my account, makes me feel very uneasy about what these developers are possibly doing with my personal data...
