I HAVE OPTIONS NOW!!!

I have so many dietary restrictions due to allergies that have built up consistently over the last two years and I have a limited amount of ingredients that I can eat. I’ve been eating the same recipes for a year and have become so sick of it. I finally remembered this app and downloaded it less than 1 HOUR AGO, and my life has already changed. It gave me over 6,000 recipe options with the ingredients that I have, when I thought I would never have variety again. I could cry with tears of joy. I love cooking and this just gave me my happiness back.

Great for raiding the pantry

This app collects many recipes all across the net based on what you have on hand. Love it because it helps give me ideas when I meal plan. That being said, I gave 4 stars because sometimes duplicate recipes pop up (same photos, but sometimes different sources) and sometimes recipes that appear have either been removed from the original source or haven’t been updated. Despite that, love this app and come back to it often.

Best app for new cooks

I’ve been using this site (before there was an app) for years! I absolutely love it! I wasn’t a very good cook when I found it, but man, did it help me find some killer recipes! It’s so simple to use! It has awesome recipes! I really just can’t say enough about it! It is so convenient when you have an ingredient you want to use, but can’t think of something new to do with it (like say you need to use up your acorn squash, but want to get creative). It really is a huge help for those of us who are culinarily challenged. Lol

Amazing !

This app is a lifesaver I use it all the time!
So many great receipe ideas that you can cook right now with what you have if you’re stuck for ideas and it drastically helps reduce food wastage!
My only suggestion is could you please add more pantry ingredient options like types of flours (coconut, buckwheat, masa harina, oat, hazelnut meal etc) stoneground oats and dried vs fresh versions of herbs or alternatively allow the user to enter in ingredients that aren’t listed?
thanks so much for making this excellent app

I have been waiting for you...

...since you have come into my life, many a night I have stood in my pantry, crying. Not because I’m listening to my family sit in silence at the kitchen table with the occasional “gghuuhguh” from one of “mom’s awesome new recipes” and nobody can get away with not eating it because not even the dog (who eats “cats treats” from the litter box) will touch it. It’s not because my 4 year old has been channeling Picasso and today his medium of choice was a jumbo sized bottle of chocolate syrup. It’s because I DID NOT HAVE TO GO TO THE STORE. You have touched me in ways I have only felt in my wildest dreams. My relationship with my children has improved dramatically because they not longer think I’m trying to kill them. If you ask my husband, well, that’s a whole different sorry. So, for all that you are doing and will continue doing, well done 😉

Supercook App

I find the app so easy to use, and there are many recipes to choose from , I am very happy with the supercook app.

Fantastic for Folks on Specific Diets

Had my gut microbiome sequenced by Viome which gives me a list of the best foods for me to eat and foods to minimize and avoid. It took me a few minutes to list all my super and enjoy foods, and the app lead me to thousands of recipes from food blogs and sites all over the internet. I can’t have tomatoes, onion or garlic, so that makes recipe hunting on my own incredibly tedious. SuperCook expanded my options in a few seconds. Thank you!

Great App overall - would recommend

I like this app a lot. You put in the ingredients that are in your pantry, then it creates a menu for you with all sorts of ideas for what you can make for dinner with those exact ingredients. Amazing!

Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because of the user experience. The user experience is decent, but has some room for improvement. For example, the navigation buttons across the bottom are hard to touch because they’re like half cut off the bottom of the screen. Also, when I go to a recipe, I have to go to some 3rd party site that usually has tons of ads so I have to X out like 10 pop ups every time I view a recipe.

Either way I still like it, and even recommended it to a friend already.

Great app but need to login is negative. Need Reminder integration

Great app but the need to use login is a negative to save recipes instead of using iCloud. Adding items to pantry and shopping list is a breeze.
please add Reminder app integration to sync a chosen list like the Grocery app does, this cuts down on having to add items twice to the location award Reminders app and the other app that uses its database.
The recipe section of the SuperCook is amazing and I love the vegetarian options for times when I want to be meat free.
Maybe taking users suggestions for shopping list items will be helpful because I can’t add oat milk in SuperCook so maybe if user keeps trying to add the same thing over and over, then it becomes a legit shopping list item.
I’ve been suggesting this app to all my friends and family. Seriously adding syncing to the Reminders list app will definitely make new cooks using this app more since we already add shopping lists to Reminders app to check off.

Needs a little help, but useful.

This app is useful, but could use some help:

First, there is no way to add ingredients not in the database. For example: I have quick oats and steel cut oats, but but not long cooking rolled oats, which is the only option available. Having the ability to add to the ingredients would be very useful.

Second: there is no way to contact the developer. The app support link sends you to the website, but there is no contact button, email address, or anything but the recipes.
