Utter Disappointment, save your money & get a refund
Family bought 4 of these systems to gift for Christmas. They can’t get their money back for the gifts since past 15 days. The lasers work fine, but the app is pointless. They’ll tell you to clear all browsing history, clear all apps, restart phone, etc and still say it’s user error because “other people haven’t returned theirs”….?… (although all of these reviews prove otherwise)
We have the newest iPhones and everything is updated software & app wise. Tried this app on more than four different iPhones. Either it will crash mid use and take you to Home Screen (deleting data), won’t register your shots whatsoever, OR it will say you shot 30 times before picking up your item. Might get lucky and get two shots to record, then just stops recording from there. Customer service will just send copy/paste using instructions, won’t read your questions at all, and ask again why we would like to return product… in other words, find the next best dry fire training company and go with that.

Strikeman - Cheapest Ammunition You Can Buy
With the current day price of ammunition and the difficulty with finding it, Strikeman is a very reasonable alternative to range time for firearm practice. It’s a simple system that gives you immediate feedback on your shooting accuracy. Simple to set up and easy to use, it tracks your statistics and allows you to evaluate equipment and techniques without depleting your ammo supply. I have laser cartridges for most of the calibers I shoot. They are a bit pricey, but I’ve been quite satisfied with the overall system. I’ve recommended Strikeman to my family members and several of them have ordered a system or are strongly considering doing so.

Laser training system
I have been using the system and I’m pleased with the purchase.

Great Training Tool!
Overall, I like this app and training tool. Nothing completely replaces live fire training since there is no actual recoil nor true report from the round. But this is a good supplemental form of training. Its advantages are that it is easy to train at home without having to travel to a range. And of course, it does save money on ammunition. It definitely helps with hand positioning, trigger reset, target acquisition, etc., in determining your correct or incorrect shooting techniques. The only reason I took one star off is because of an occasional lag in the app recognizing or not registering a hit. Other than that, I recommend the Strikeman app and system.

STRIKEMAN is accurate and much cheaper than going to the shooting range
I found the STRIKEMAN app to be a cost effective way to practice and improve my shooting skills. The phone app accurately captures and tracks your scores over multiple shooting sessions, making it easy to tell if your shooting performance is improving over time. I like that the phone app calls out your score for each shot, and can be reset by using a simple voice command (REPEAT SESSION). The one area that STRIKEMAN needs to improve is the quality of the phone stand they supply with their laser target system. The phone stand STRIKEMAN supplied with my purchase was absolute JUNK, which broke on my first attempt to insert my phone into the phone stand. Luckily I had a spare phone stand of much better quality that I used with the STRIKEMAN app to practice my shooting skills.

Great software for the use. Perfect for dry fire training and accuracy.

Update. They did give me a full refund but I am out the $40 duty and brokerage and return freight as I imported it to Canada. But at least they retuned what they controlled.
Unreal. They had the opportunity to do something great but it sucks. App crashes. They laser does not function in my Glock. Just stays on the whole time and then the batteries died in about 10 minutes. Don’t buy this what ever you do. I am going to try to get my money back. What a disappointment as with Canada’s new gun rules I can’t take my pistols to the range anymore.

We're sorry that your experience with us sucked! We just released a new app update to address the recent crashing issue. Please email us at support@strikeman.io and we'll process a refund for you. If the laser is staying on the firearm you're using isn't compatible with our laser cartridge.
Excellent home range
I just received Strikeman as a Father’s Day gift from my wife. It was simple to setup after watching a short video. It performed flawlessly and was quite enjoyable to use. I setup a range in my backyard where I would never fire live rounds. Because it is portable and so easy to setup I plan on taking it along to some friends.
I’m an old retired guy who can’t afford ammo at today’s prices. This is the answer. It paid for itself after the first session.
It’s so convenient for me. I can shoot at home or take it anywhere. Save a bundle on ammo. No need to clean the gun after each session. For my circumstances Strikeman is my preferred choice of firing semiautomatic handguns. I think it is great!!

Duped to write a review; Look elsewhere for a laser product
Strikeman’s laser system is NOT the best, but it is also not the worst. Their laser system provides an alternative and cheaper option to going to the shooting range. The quality of the Strikeman product is acceptable; but the price could be better for what you get, and the app needs update.
HOWEVER, The Company's recent practice of offering a promotion to “Review our app and get a FREE laser cartridge” and then not fulfill their side of the agreement after a review is submitted, is UNACCEPTABLE. It matters not whether Strikeman was either ill prepared to do a promotion (not expecting such a large volume of responses), or it was a clever scam by Strikeman to gain “free”product reviews: both reflect negatively on how Strikeman treats its customers.
Regardless, reviews for any Company who solicits reviews of their product with enticement of “free” gifts, should be questioned for validity and accuracy. Look elsewhere; I will no longer purchase a Strikeman product.

Great affordable tool
I’m a firearms instructor/ CCW instructor so im fairly critical of these types of training tool, but I like this set up and the responsiveness. It was easy to set up and to use. I like the portability ( you can take it with you! ) I would encourage my students to use this to keep up their skills when they can’t get to the range as often.
There are a couple of things I’m not crazy about hence 4 stars) you can’t rapid fire as you need to manually reset it between shots-this is distracting for me I would also like more flexibility on the number of shots on the app. The cost of additional cartridges is $$$ so make sure you get what you will use most.
