  • Takes over other files

Not only does this app lose your sequence when you rename it - it also takes over other file folders making it unable to read documents in another file that has nothing to do with this app

Dear app user We understand, at the beginning it can be confusing using a document-based app. But the YogaSequencing app is not different than other document-based like Apple Pages or Numbers. With the YogaSequencing app you have access and can maintain .yogasequence files only, no other file types. The positive aspect of the document-based app is that you have your Yoga sequence files fully under your control. Nothing is hidden within the app. You can store your files wherever you like and share your files with whomever you like. Some help: Storage of the yoga sequencing files and backup of your work. The app automatically creates a folder called 'Yoga Sequencing' in your iCloud storage or, if you do not use it, in your local storage. All .yogasequence documents that you create in the app are automatically stored here and only you can access your documents. But you can also store it elsewhere as you like. You can create folders in your device storage area according to your needs and sort your documents. We recommend that you copy the 'Yoga Sequencing' file from time to time to another data carrier to have a backup. To edit and synchronize your flows on your various devices, you need to activate iCloud. If you decide to cancel your subscription at some point, keep your .yogsequence documents anyways so that you can reopen them again and continue editing if you decide to subscribe anew. Export all your work as a PDF as well (see instructions below), so you always have your flows at hand and additionally secured. When naming your document, please do not use the following two special characters: forward slash / and colon : Please find more information and help on our web page: www.yogasequencedesign.com
  • By far the best sequencer app for teachers

This is by far the best yoga sequence builder I've used, and I've tried several. The library of poses is impressive, and the ability to add descriptions, instructions, and other notes is really useful. The stick figures are easy to understand (and cute!), and my students enjoy getting the PDFs so they can practice specific sequences outside of class. Yes, you have to pay for the full version, but if you're a yoga teacher, it's worth the annual fee.

  • So far….

There’s a lot of Chair Yoga basics that aren’t available…making my own with the blank page is great but if there was an option to upload your own image for these, it would be even better.

It would also be nice to be able to change the name of the pose when you are editing pose comments (instead of editing the poses separately).

One other thing, it would be nice if you could copy a pose, then edit it and save it as a different pose name (but same image).

Dear Stacydc Thank you for your feed back. Missing Pictures / adding your own images: There is a detailed description on how to add your own photos/pictures to an app flow on the our website: https://www.yogasequencedesign.com/en/manual Another option would be to just send the missing picture or a detailed description to info@yoganista.ch and we'll do our best to make the pose available in the app as soon as possible. The Yoga Sequencing App constantly adapts to your needs and grows and grows… We will also add new chair poses with our next update. Changing pose names: See a detailed description on how to change the pose names here: https://www.yogasequencedesign.com/en/manual If you have favourite poses and you don’t want to do the same process of editing the names in every new flow you draw, we recommend to create a sample Yoga Sequencing App flow, with all your favourite poses (and your changed pose names) in it. When drawing a new flow, just copy your sample flow and you will have your favourite pictures with the edited pose names at your disposal. If you copy an edited picture within the same flow file, the changes will be copied as well. If you need further help, please visit our website: https://www.yogasequencedesign.com/en and don’t hesitate to reach out to as at info@yoganista.ch
  • Great for new teachers

This app has been perfect to build my first sequences as a yoga teacher. After purchasing all of the images it as everything I need to make a sequence, including the ability to separate things into blocks, which makes it visually easy to see the sections of the class. I had tried to use Tummee before finding this app, and find the drag and drop much better than on Tummee, and the interface feels much cleaner. Perhaps an advanced teacher might find some of Tummees features more valuable, but this has been great for me as a new teacher.
