Description of Yoga Sequencing

With our Yoga Sequencing App you have the perfect instrument to plan and teach beautiful, meaningful and above all varied yoga and pilates classes. You can also use the Yoga Sequencing App to easily design and print out handouts for your students in the same style. With the practical search function, you can easily find the pose you you're looking for in the Yoga Sequencing app. Drag and drop the poses into your document and add paragraphs with and without paragraph headers and / or paragraph footers. Save your most used poses in favorites. There is also a 'Text / Spacer / Images' Box available, which allows you to add texts, comments and your own images or photos at all places. The number of poses per line and the size of their display are decided by +/- buttons and can be adjusted at any time. You can use the Yoga Sequencing App to display and design your flows exactly as you wish. The pictures we have drawn for the Yoga Sequencing App are based on the stick figures that you've learned to draw in your yoga teacher training. They are so discreet, that a printed flow can easily lie next to your mat during teaching. All this enables you to draw and teach new, inventive yoga and pilates classes all the time. There are over 3’000 yoga and pilates images available in the Yoga Sequencing App, including poses with yoga props such as a strap, blocks and wheel. There are also 'extras', i.e. images for number of minutes, repetitions, breaths etc., Chakras, Bandhas, Pranayamas and much more. All flows you draw with the Yoga Sequencing App, can be displayed with or without a yoga mat and with or without pose names (German, English or Sanskrit). You can personalize your flows in the Yoga Sequencing App with your logo, the Yoga Class Name, Yoga Teacher Name, Sequence Title, Sequence Description and Notes. The yoga lessons you draw are saved as .yogasequence files on your device and can be managed in the «Files» app. The lessons can be exported as PDF, printed and shared. And the best thing is, that this Yoga Sequencing App adapts to you. If you should not find a pose you are looking for in the app, just send a picture or a detailed description to info@yoganista.ch and we will do our best to make the pose available in the app as soon as possible. This is how the Yoga Sequencing App constantly adapts to your needs and grows and grows. Please see all the advantages and features of our Yoga Sequencing App, with the free download including 70 pictures. • Takes over other files

Not only does this app lose your sequence when you rename it - it also takes over other file folders making it unable to read documents in another file that has nothing to do with this app

    Developer Response

Dear app user We understand, at the beginning it can be confusing using a document-based app. But the YogaSequencing app is not different than other document-based like Apple Pages or Numbers. With the YogaSequencing app you have access and can maintain .yogasequence files only, no other file types. The positive aspect of the document-based app is that you have your Yoga sequence files fully under your control. Nothing is hidden within the app. You can store your files wherever you like and share your files with whomever you like. Some help: Storage of the yoga sequencing files and backup of your work. The app automatically creates a folder called 'Yoga Sequencing' in your iCloud storage or, if you do not use it, in your local storage. All .yogasequence documents that you create in the app are automatically stored here and only you can access your documents. But you can also store it elsewhere as you like. You can create folders in your device storage area according to your needs and sort your documents. We recommend that you copy the 'Yoga Sequencing' file from time to time to another data carrier to have a backup. To edit and synchronize your flows on your various devices, you need to activate iCloud. If you decide to cancel your subscription at some point, keep your .yogsequence documents anyways so that you can reopen them again and continue editing if you decide to subscribe anew. Export all your work as a PDF as well (see instructions below), so you always have your flows at hand and additionally secured. When naming your document, please do not use the following two special characters: forward slash / and colon : Please find more information and help on our web page: www.yogasequencedesign.com
  • By far the best sequencer app for teachers

This is by far the best yoga sequence builder I've used, and I've tried several. The library of poses is impressive, and the ability to add descriptions, instructions, and other notes is really useful. The stick figures are easy to understand (and cute!), and my students enjoy getting the PDFs so they can practice specific sequences outside of class. Yes, you have to pay for the full version, but if you're a yoga teacher, it's worth the annual fee.
