Poor app design
I’m on week five of this program. I can’t tell yet if it’s had a significant impact. But I’m committed to working for the entire two months. The most frustrating part of this program is the app. It is wildly rudimentary, and the most annoying thing is that if you accidentally close the app during a session, it shuts the software down, the timer resets, and you have to start all over again. There is absolutely no technical reason other than just sloppy design for this. I’m not the only person who has complained, but apparently, the developer doesn’t care about Customer feedback.

Please stop the mandatory & unnecessary updates !
-the app refuses to launch if you don’t do the update, so no choice there
-there is an update almost weekly since June (when the app was working great) which doesn’t improve anything, on the contrary. This week last update makes the device stop unexpectedly

App needs to be in foreground and training terminates randomly
The app must not only be running, it must be open in the foreground/active on screen. You cannot even put the screen to sleep without the sound training terminating. Sometimes the training spontaneously stops even when the application screen is open and you are in Bluetooth range. Very frustrating app to use…

Unlike anything else! But needs a little work
Great app and device. It's helped with my tinnitus in a way that no other service is able to do. I am incredibly thankful.
However, it is frustrating that I can't use the app while it's in the background. It significantly affects my experience as a user.

Life Changing after 12 years - Needs Improvement
First, let me say that I am not affiliated in anyway with Neosensory, and I am not communicating with them. This is a 100% organic review. I’ve suffered with Tinnitus for 12 years which developed after a scuba diving trip. Decided to try the Neosensory band and App. For the first time in 12 years I have silence for a short amount of time. Using the device / app gets me about 20-30 minutes of silence & I experienced this the first time I used it. After 12 years of ringing in my ear, it is hard to describe the amount of relief I feel in this state. There is still something a little there. It’s not a ring, though it’s almost like a soft static sound hard to describe, but it is not ring. It is almost imperceptible. I’ve only had it for 4 days and it has been incredible to be able to finally turn it off for a half hour and breath a sigh of relief. Eventually, the tinnitus does return, but I just use it again. I use it three or four times a day now. It has given me hope that there might eventually be a cure and I am overjoyed that I have a way to battle my flareups. They are so bad that sometimes they wake me up at night. All of this said, I think it’s important to recognize that there may be different variants of tinnitus out there and it may not work for everyone. One slight negative of using the device is I am more aware of the ringing now than I had become a custom to over the years. It’s sort of like if you never get that silence you sort of ignore it more. Once you experience that silence again, you are more aware of when it comes back so I guess there’s some give-and-take with us, but at least I have a tool to battle it.
Additionally, it is extremely annoying to have to leave the app open in order to use it. I’m not a fan of that, so I put it on one of my old iPhones that are specifically for this purpose and I keep my main iPhone for other uses. I’m so thankful to neosensory for the research. I will definitely be keeping this and will update if there any additional changes after a few months.

Tinnitus relief
First time in my life writing a review, to be honest it’s completely a waste of time and money. Would not recommend to anyone with tinnitus at least. I used for 45 days my tinnitus remained at the same level.
Don’t buy
I really wanted this to work for me but it didn’t. I returned the device a month ago (within the return period), got an email that they received it but I’m still waiting to get my money back.
Horrible company!

Relief
Using the Neosensory app and tinnitus program has greatly reduced my tinnitus and has restored peace of mind.
Unreliable
I use it for tinnitus. It regularly resets the counter during my sessions so that I have to restart them. If you try and dim you screen brightness the timer resets. If you stay too long on the daily rating page, the timer resets. If you trying poking around the app to see what’s available, the timer resets. The timer also just rests randomly. Aside from reliability it would be great if I could background the app during a session. Shoot my a notification when my session is over.

nice idea very buggy app
used for 1 month+ with no positive results. device does not stay connected and will not let me reconnect as it did before after a few tries.. several dozen tries later no luck connecting and only option is to contact support via email with 29mb log file that is too large to send via gmail.
