  • Don’t bother with the app - just doesn’t work

    App won’t pickup my EK7000.

    Connected to it via WiFi and done the usual turn it on / off again stuff. There’s a reason it’s cheap, I guess… at least I paid a lot less 3 years ago than it sells for now!

    Tbf, the camera itself is acceptable - shame there’s no EIS, but the quality isn’t bad at all
  • USELESS

    My V50X won’t connect to the app. Just installed the app on my fully updated iPad (17.6.1), turned wifi in in the camera, went to iPad settings, found the camera in the iPad’s Wifi config, entered the password, it then seems to show it connected but also shows “weak security” and “no internet connection”. Also complains about it not being WPA2 or WPA3 which suggests to me that the weak camera wifi security is no longer supported by Apple (my guess, anyway). The app at that point won’t get past the Wifi connection popup. Will check to see if the camera firmware can be updated, if not the app is completely non-functional. Well, camera firmware version seems to be V4.1 from 2022.
    Searching for an update in the website and it’s nowhere to be seen.

  • Must have an option to download multiple videos simultaneously!

    The app works but needs more functionality such as ability to download multiple photos and videos simultaneously and ability to use the phone as a remote for the camera.
  • Sound camera and equipment- worst app ever created

    Camera is everything you expect, two batteries that can be charged up for a long period of time, plenty of useful attachments and easy to ad others bought online.
    But, the app is by far the worst thing I’ve ever used, once you finally connect everything up to view your videos good luck trying to download them, trying to download them onto your phone just crashes the app and disconnects the camera from the app every single time and then if you try to be smart and screen record your videos they buffer and stop loading every 4 seconds. And before you think this is a long video problem… no these are only 15 second videos. I beg for an app representative contact me and try to rectify this problem. The star rating is a combination of camera and app review.

  • Awesome camera good quality but

    App is the down side

    I’ve made a video it’s 8mins long I’ve got plenty of space on my phone to download it from the app
    But the app starts to download the video to save to my device once it’s finished it’s time downloading it kicks me straight off the app
    With no video downloaded
  • Complete trash

    I bought this camera as a last minute addition for scuba diving for a month on holiday. Duly downloaded the app as I left home and tried it numerous times to download videos and photos.
    The camera itself still plays the videos and photos so they’re on the card. However, this rubbish app shows ‘no files’ so I can’t do anything for a month until I connect the camera to a PC.
    I’ve tried an iPhone and iPad with the same results.
    I can see the camera in real time so I know my phone and camera are communicating.

  • No camera control, invasive, and not user friendly

    I bought the camera and was excited to start using it. This software did not even come close to my expectations. It wants you to share your photos and videos but the platform they go to is so “buggy” that I was reluctant to upload them. Every time I tried to download from the camera into my phone, it glitched, locking me out. There was no way to wirelessly transfer the data from the camera to a desktop or laptop. Within a week of trying to use this application, I’ve deleted it from all devices, and don’t plan to ever use it again.

  • Never worked

    App is a gigantic waste of time. Would not connect to wifi and never worked once. Camera is good but app is garbage.

  • Cannot connect iPhone 14 to brave 7

    Just bought the Akaso Brave 7 camera it’s been two days and still cannot connect to the WIFI

  • Worst App ever! Zero stars

    App is garbage. Constantly freezes requiring restarts. Takes forever to connect to WiFi and is VERY slow when, on those rare occasions it does work for a few moments.
