  • Worthless App

    Can’t connect to my iPhone, though I’ve tried repeatedly, even deleting the app, then reinstalling it to reset parameters. Does not work. My videos on my 7000pro are useless when I can’t upload/download them anywhere! This was a Christmas present and one I was very excited to get. I wanted to make skiing videos. Useless and Very Disappointed! Unfortunately, most people have already purchased the camera before they realize it’s a total waste because the app doesn’t work!

  • WiFi connection is a bad idea badly implemented

    I tried using this with an Brave4 camera which has WiFi not Bluetooth. This a poor idea - WiFi is really not suitable for this type of device connection, and it did not work.

  • Great camera but no sound

    You can only do videos that 3min max. Except for that great camera great app

  • App is trash

    Can’t trim a clip to download just portion that I need. Try to fast forward the clip and the app crashes.

    I just go my Akaso Go and the app has crashed every single time I open it

  • Great camera but lame app

    Not sure if there’s been a update, but the app won’t let me fast forward through footage anymore without crashing. Videos take a while to download too and often they fail at the last minute, which is very frustrating.

  • AKASO NEEDS TO SIMPLIFY

    When I got my AKASO Brave 4, I tried to connect it to the app. First off, the app is slow, freezes frequently, and compromises your privacy. When I was trying to connect to my camera, I looked up how to turn on the cameras WiFi, I found that they said just about every different button will turn it on. One website by AKASO said to hold the up button to turn on the WiFi, another AKASO link said to hold the down button. It was “hold ok” button that finally turned my WiFi on. The most annoying thing, and the reason I will not be using the app to control my phone; you HAVE to turn your location on in order for the app to let you past a “tip” screen asking you to go to setting and turn on your location. Think you can get around it? WRONG. So not only do they have a poor privacy policy, they REQUIRE your location to be on. Shoulda got a GoPro smh

  • WI-FI upload speeds are useless to be used practically

    It’s really really bad, it takes about 6 minutes to upload a 10 second video through the wifi connection. In addition, none of the settings that you change transfer to the camera.
    Why did they release this to the market when it’s this bad?

  • Good cam, but terrible terrible app

    I have an Akaso EK 7000 pro. It’s pretty good. I gave 5-star on Amazon.

    However, the app is terrible! Actually, the useful functionalities are very poor and the operation is inconvenience. For example, you can’t change the cam’s settings from this app. And even worse, when your app connects to the cam, you can’t operate on cam.

    On the other hand, this app has lots of unuseful and specious functions. It seems want to be a social media like Instagram, and insists you to share your location and open the cell data. I don’t think it’s harmful but just feel uncomfortable.

  • Great camera BUT problems

    The camera itself is great, great quality and relatively easy to use and is basically a more affordable GoPro.
    BUT that’s where the greatness ends, because you can only download over WiFi so it takes forever and I haven’t been able to download a single video over 2:30mins in length.
    When I’ve clicked on my longer videos (of around 6mins) I click on download and it starts…..after 10mins of downloading it says “completed”, then there’s a pause and then it flashes up with “failed download, check phone storage”. My iPhone has over 150gb of free storage, so it’s not my phone it’s the app / camera.
    Looking online my issue isn’t unique as it seems a lot of people have this issue but there’s no fixes I can find.
