  • Cannot connect to iPhone

    Despite being connected, the camera redirects me to add the camera to wifi multiple times. After while, it tells you to restart your phone. Restarting does not fix the issue. AND the app requires all access to your photos, location with precise location AND Bluetooth. Even with all of this access, the camera would not connect to my iPhone.

  • AKASO 7 to iPhone

    This APP is awful. Transfer from camera to phone using the WI-FI is not fit for purpose. It either disconnects midway or says battery is too low on camera with a fully charged battery in. I’ll have to try a card reader but I’m seriously considering returning the AKASO 7 and trying a different camera with useable software.

  • Not a great app at all

    Sadly the promise of WiFi download and streaming to your iPhone is just that. A promise. Initially worked but now the video streaming constantly buffers and sticks right at the start so you can’t watch. Also if you attempt a download it takes forever and then fail. So all in all terrible as it doesn’t achieve the main things it’s meant to achieve. So no stars

  • Bad app

    I don’t understand why I need to turn on Bluetooth and location services for a wifi connection. Also, the wifi connection doesn’t actually work. Annoying that I will have to return from holiday to see any of this footage.

    The camera is great. The app is terrible.

    Downloading of files in to my iPhone is completely random - some files download, others don’t, even when the icon tells me that a file has downloaded it is not in my photos folder - who knows where it is.
    When going onto their help desk you get a Bot who just directs you to the same set of instructions.

  • If I could give it zero stars I would

    Asks for too many unnecessary permissions (location and access to entire photo library on my phone). Downloading my photos from my camera worked once. Useless app.

  • Just doesn’t work

    Bought their 7000 pro and the app and device just don’t work together. I run an e-commerce business and feel I am at minimum an above average user but I have tried every way to get through their pairing tutorial without success. App has been removed and camera will be heading back for return. First thing on the app is a social sharing Home Screen. Developers need to not focus on this relatively useless feature and get their devices to work with the app. Reading other reviews I am not alone.

  • Worst app ever

    From the start, it’s just a sales app with a little bit to download from the camera. Even in the “My Device” page, it has already loaded videos that can’t be deleted. Once finally getting to look what is on your camera using Wi-Fi Direct, playback “loading” every 2/3 seconds. Try to download direct from camera to iPhone, using manufacturer instructions, takes longer than it did to film it.

    Worst of all - NO IPAD VERSION. Can only watch in phone mode.

    You do not need my location or full camera roll permissions in order for me to copy my own photos over wifi. And then the app still did not work.

    Apple is complicit. 30% of all IAP *revenue* should be enough funding to moderate this.

    J’ai acheté Akaso Brave 7, j’arrive pas a connecter le wifi, j’arrive pas a faire connecter avec mon iphone 14
