  • Nothing like bolt/lime

    It’s $20 for 90 minutes of riding, no stopping and locking. You’re expected to ride for 90 minutes straight and it’s $20 each time. There’s no other options, I truly feel scammed and cannot recommend more that anyone looking should find a different mode of transport.

  • Horrible customer service. The bikes & app are horrible too

    I wish I could give this app lower than a 1 star rating but I can’t. The bikes themselves are a coin toss that you will always lose. Many of the bikes will just stop being electric powered even on a full charge. The other half just don’t work because a wheel is broken or something

    Plus the customer service is nonexistent. In the app it leads me to a page that I can’t click anything on.

    I beg of you don’t waste your money. You’ll spend less money on a Uber, Lyft, or even a taxi for crying out loud.

  • Just wanted to ride a bike!

    We set up the app and then tried to rent a bike. Twice my Apple Pau was hit for $30, and twice I tried to get the bike off the rack. It never happened! Batteries were dead, the lock wouldn’t release the bike, and when one finally did the alarm went off until I put it back on the rack and locked it. They won’t refund my money! RIPOFF!

  • DONT GET THE APP literally stole $25 from me.

    my friends and i decided to go to the old town in st augustine to ride bikes. not only did the app take forever to load, when it did i proceeded to purchase a ride for $20. it then closed my app, said i was in miami, unlocked a bike in that area, then as i went to end the ride it charged me $5 to end it bc it's was "parked in an unsolicited area" pls read these reviews before you use this app.

  • Horrible App, great bikes

    The bikes are fantastic to use. I bought a subscription and had planned to use it nearly daily for years, and did use it quite a bit. But very quickly I ran into an issue it seems everyone else has, faulty location. I kept raking up fine after fine after fine. I was essentially paying $10 per bike ride no matter what I did, even if I waited 5-10 minutes in the correct spot before locking up the bike. I tried contacting support many times and never heard a word. My girlfriend had the same issues but couldn’t even cancel her subscription, so she had to remove Apple Pay from her phone altogether to get it to stop. Worst service imaginable. It’s a shame, because the bikes themselves are pretty great

  • App doesn’t work

    My app used to work fine, but I haven’t been able to get it to work in about a year. Every now and then I’d like to use Gotcha for my commute, but the app completely freezes on me when I open it. I’ve tried contacting customer service and they offer no help. Last I was told they’d open a ticket for me and someone would look into it but I never heard from them again. I’ve tried emailing as well and no luck. There’s a rack on my block as well as by my job so it’s super convenient and I used to use it all the time, but even with all the most recent updates on my phone I cannot get it to work.

  • St Augustine - Complete scam - they were correct calling it “Gotcha”

    Do not use if in St Augustine. This is a complete scam. They have three support phone numbers, all are disconnected. They have in app support, it is not connected. They have two email support addresses, both kick back as invalid email addresses. Do not put your credit card information in this app!!!

  • Can’t Request Refund, Poor App Design

    I used Bolt bikes while I was at LSU, and have had issues with getting fined while parking in the correct location. I was refunded twice after requesting three times in the Help chat. Now I am unable to access the Help chat after I got back home. No keyboard pops up, so I can’t contact Bolt support. I have tried emailing Bolt as well, but have got ZERO RESPONSE IN ALMOST TWO MONTHS. As a result, I am unable to cancel my auto renew subscription.

    I recently found out that Bolt Mobility has shut down nationwide, and is NO LONGER RESPONDING TO PHONE CALLS OR EMAIL. This is outrageous, considering I am still getting charged for a service I don’t even use! Totally unacceptable, what a crooked way to do business! I want my money back Bolt Mobility! 😡
