Connection issues. No raw data export.
Would love to switch entirely to the new app, but can’t until this issues are figured out.
Side note: I would really like to see a data export feature for the actual sonar data (not just depth). Without access to the underlying data, it feels like I don’t actually “own” the device, I’m just renting it for as long as Lakebook is active.

Chirp to connect to a gear track on my kayak and it works great and is simple to setup and connect for each trip. Great work!

After contacting the developer the issue has been resoved. It turns out to be iOS issue not the app itself. The hardware is very good and the app is first class. 4 stars only for now since it is not finished yet.

Ice fishing mode?

Hi there, Ice fishing mode is currently under development, and will be released in the future updates. In the new app, you can enable Standard mode + Narrow beam, and turn off fish icons. This way it will work though an ice hole. The Deeper Smart Sonar (old app) has a fully developed ice fishing mode with an ice flasher, so you can also use that.
