  • Great Game Loving It

I think this is the first review I’ve ever written on the App Store if that tells you anything about how much I enjoyed this game. This game and the community and the devs are great. I’ve been playing for about 2 weeks now and I am still having a blast. It’s a great game to get on to do some trades, quests, and your daily free stuff and then go about your day. Or, you can even get really competitive and grind leagues. But, the game is great either way. They also give you a lot of free stuff daily, sometimes in the store, or through email. But, it’s not so much where it’s not fun. I love that their is a theme every week so the meta is changing every week. Love the game! Keep up the great work devs and team.

  • Great game, play all the time

This is legit one of the best mobile games. It’s easy to learn, not to difficult, and while spending money is an option if you want to get serious, it is by no means requires. Playing the game gets you enough coins to consistently get new packs, and the game overall is just really fun to play. Even reading card backs and deck building, one of the things I usually find most boring in games like this, is really really fun. I would encourage anybody with a phone and some time on there hands every day to pick it up. Even playing just a little bit a day is really fun. I usually play 3-5 games even on a busy day, because the matches are short and sweet

  • Good game, but..

There is essentially an exploit where you can bluff an enemy by placing 3 units down, waiting for them to respond in like (and they will have “ended turn”), then promptly empty out my side and lock in and it does not prompt the other player about my changes! This is a huge problem for a game so focused on meta-gaming the rounds! Please fix this as I don’t want it done to me, though I will admit to executing it to glorious effect against an otherwise superior player.
    Thanks!

  • Awesome, but it could use something

I feel that this game is very unique, and has a lot to draw people in.
However I think that the game would benefit from a system where you can but certain cards you want. These cards of course would cost more, but you could get specific cards you like. Based on rarity it could cost more.
If this was implemented getting complete sets would be so much easier. This would not get rid of trading. In trading you use trade tokens costing you no currency. In this buying system no trade tokens would be used instead the in game currency.
This also wouldn’t get rid of the crafting system, because you wouldn’t be able to buy fusion cards.
If this isn’t added I wouldn’t be heartbroken, but I feel it would add more to a great game. Also, card packs would still be worth it. As you are getting random cards for less money than buying them.

-Thanks for making a great game

  • Best mobile card game, BUT…

I’ve been playing this game for about 2 weeks now, and I’m in love with it. The problem is that certain mechanics decide when they want to work and when they don’t. For example: the Sitting Bull card gives each card in your hand a +25 power boost if you lost the turn. I use that card in my main deck, but it’s ability will trigger even if you won the turn so long as your opponent so much as takes over in points before your points are even calculated. In the spirit of fair play, that’s just broken. A similar issue happens with cards that rely on you winning/losing to trigger their abilities. Sometimes when the actual intended outcome happens, there’s basically like a 70/30 chance the abilities won’t trigger. I’ve had this problem win and lose me games, but it’s just too inconsistent. Hopefully a more definable way of “winning” and “ losing” a turn is fixed.

  • Messaging system

Ok this game could be 10X better if we could have some sort of way to communicate with our friends. The trading system is already good but it would make it so much better if we had a a way of connecting with our friends whether it be through the game, or through different apps such as facebook, insta, etc. I just feel like the trading system has a lack of communication in between the players. Being able to attack a profile or private chat in the game would make this game in my opinion one of the best card games hands down. It could definitely be considered up their with PVZ heroes with a few new features.

  • Very fun game

This is a very fun game. Even when you get tired of playing you can trade cards with other people. It all around enjoyable. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is every morning when I open my daily prize I get 3 free trade tokens then I go spin the prize wheel and far too often I win 3 free trade tokens. Which isn’t really an issue until you consider there’s a max of 5 trade tokens and I just won 6 so one of my trade tokens is completely wasted and useless. I would suggest removing the trade tokens from the prize wheel and maybe offer whatever the current league pack is in its place.

  • CUE is a lot of fun!

I’ve played Pokémon and MtG and really enjoy this deck-building (and battling) game. My (adult) son recommended the game to me. I downloaded it, yesterday, and played not imagining it would be a keeper. The mechanics of the game are clever. That the cards have info on the back appeals to the former educator in me (as well as a fan of all-things-trivia). I enjoy that there is a trading element. I adore that you have to think when setting up your decks. Collecting cards is amazingly fun. The coins you can “earn” each day are generous (especially when compared to other apps and their micro transactions). I would like it if there was a place that I could find/purchase some new Card Backs and if the 400 gem theme packs were more feminine. (They seem to changeover once per week, so I’m hoping for something “prettier” in four days time. Fans of crocodiles/alligators and the Aztecs are in luck this week!) I was happy to purchase some sets in order to give some funds to the developers. I appreciate the thought they’ve clearly put into the game. I look forward to watching the game progress!

  • Incredibly fun and addicting game!

I’ve been playing for about a week now and I am absolutely hooked. I don’t normally like playing slower turn based games but with the amount of options of cards and combinations you can play, it keeps the game interesting! I love how they add information to the back of the cards so you can learn a little too. This is a perfect game for when you want to kill time but still keep your mind going!

  • Truly Phenomenal!

I don’t think I’ve ever left a review before… but wow this game is worth it. Even if you don’t like collectible card games, at least give it a try!

Yes, it’s free to play, but the shop is not predatory at all. You can earn plenty of premium currency just playing the game. And you can trade for whatever you want! So you can hike a dream deck quite quickly. Like after 3 days I had enough rarer cards to trade for cards I actually wanted in my deck.

It’s awesome how the history/biography on each card matches with how it’s played in the actual game. Like a secret society card (which actually existed) killed their ruler, and so when played the card debuffs any super rare/powerful cards! Stuff like that.

It’s also a completely unique card game when it comes to gameplay. I’ve played Pokémon, duel masters, YuGiOh, MTG, and many more card games, but you don’t need any of that knowledge to do well here. It’s more of a tug of war type of gameplay that enables players to build whatever kind of decks they want. And with so much synergy between cards, you can truly pick whatever type of deck sounds cool and it can be made viable. Whatever you can think of is probably a card set: sharks, junk food, feudal Japan, solar system, dinosaurs, the internet, Wild West.

Do yourself a favor and try it :)
