  • Amazing!… but;

This is a great app, and even though there is a fee to unlock all the features, it is worth it in my opinion.
The only thing that is truly lacking, is being able to access a FULL Pokédex from across all the games. Having to change versions to find specific Pokémon is very tedious.
    Great job otherwise team!

  • Best Pokédex Ever!

This literally has everything in one app. There is no need to google anything if everything is there! Moves, locations, abilities. That’s only scratching the surface! Another thing to add is that it doesn’t force you to get premium, or show a tone of ads, like I told you, it’s the best Pokédex!
  • Best Dex A Trainer Could Ask For

Let me start out by saying that I’m currently 27, and throughout all my years of playing, nothing comes close to the ProDex when it comes to keeping you on your toes and ready to battle with the best Pokémon information there is! I use this app, mostly with Pokémon scarlet, but the app works with every Pokémon game there is. It comes in clutch when you’re in a battle and you don’t know the right type to use for your opponent. If you’re young and don’t have types memorized yet, this app will give you your opponents weaknesses and strengths. You just going to your Pokédex click on the Pokémon that they’re using, and it’s right below the Pokémon. You can create checklists for Pokémon that you’re looking for or Pokémon you have. You can look up every item that’s in the game and the App will tell you what it’s used for. Whenever I play Pokémon, this app is always open. This is my first ever app review. I’ve never thought about or wanted to write a review for any app that I’ve ever had, but I feel like it was necessary to write one for this app, because people need to know about it. If you don’t believe me, just look for yourself. I always recommend this app to anybody that I know or meet that plays Pokémon.

  • A Father's Search For The Perfect Pokedex

I'm sitting here in this hospital waiting room, awaiting the arrival of my first born son, and all I can think about is how this moment parallels my quest for the perfect Pokedex app. It's like finding a lost Jedi temple, a shining beacon in the Pokemon community, a one stop source for all our needs.

But alas, every app I find falls short, like the Empire's hold on the galaxy. The flaws, they're as abundant as the stars in the sky. For Prodex, I'll give you two examples, just two. First, I can never tap to open the information on moves that are further down the list, like egg moves and more. Second, where's the creativity, the innovation? We could be generating so much more money and blessing the Pokemon community, but instead the likes of Bulbapedia, Smogon, Serebii, Teambuilder and countless others continue to vie for attention.

The thought of my son facing these same challenges fills me with dread. But then, I remember the words of the great Jedi master, Yoda: "Do or do not, there is no try." And with that thought, I'm filled with a new hope.

This is a call to arms, fellow trainers. As I await the arrival of my son, I vow to continue my quest for the ultimate Pokedex app. A legacy for my son, and for the Pokemon community. May the force be with us all.

  • I love the app needs some adjustments

I have used several Pokédex apps throughout the years and the UI and feel of it is fan-freaking-tastic. However I have a gripe, for me to give this app 5 stars they need to work on being able to select a move and reading what it does with a Description. It’s disappointing I have to switch out to a different app/website to view moves and sometimes abilities. If you refine this aspect I would give this app 5 stars no problem I’m a fan of so many other aspects and quality of life upgrades it gives to having the information readily available in a easy to read way. I hope the devs see this and fix that.

  • Pretty good

Easy to navigate, more than enough info on every Pokémon, great app so I bought premium for bdsp. Only complaint is that I can’t use the app when offline, which is pretty frustrating.

Great news: an offline mode is now available! Test it and let us know what you think!
  • Love it

Everything is perfect, I just wish there was a full national dex that’s not bound to all games like in datadex. Also some alternate forms for male and female pokemons like hipopotas are only shown in the shiny display and not the normal. Only point that out because they show both female and male forms for other pokemons like shellos.

  • AMAZING APP! Minor tweaks needed

I absolutely love this app. It is my goto when looking for information regarding any main line Pokémon game. There are some tweaks that need to made in regards to move list of pokemon. When you click them from the Pokémon’s page it doesn’t always bring up the description. Which is a minor annoyance.

The paid added content is worth it. And I commend the team for quickly updating the app during the release of scarlet and violet. I had to donate more! That was impressive.

What I would like to see in the future is an update to the team building section. Right now it does not show the stat increases when you add EVs. And you are not able to change the level of the Pokémon to change in stats. It remains at lv 50.

  • I absolutely love this but there is one thing

I gotta be straight forward, I’ve been using this dex app for a while now and I’m enjoying it a lot, but there is something I think the developer shsould do:

1st off: I think free users should be able to at least make 3 parties, it will be a bit more convenient and give others more of a reason to ge t premium in order or have more and never lose the parties they made before.

2nd off: whilst using scarlet and violet dec has been enjoyable, two things really bug me, there isn’t a dedicated section for the titans and team star bases, I’d like for there to be a section or two for these, and to have them in order explaining their level and move pool, that would be so much easier to plan for.

  • Amazing app! Super helpful

This app is so convenient and has so many filters and data sections and descriptions it’s insane. Very well organized and can even sort by generation. Honestly premium version is extremely worth it. Every time new games come out as well it’s updated pretty quick with small updates following the days of a new release, and you can even look up moves and what Pokémon in a certain generation can learn it by level up or breeding. More and more features get added and it’s a very smart download
Only reasoning for no five stars is that there used to be a feature where on the moves section of a certain dex entry you were able to press on a certain move and it would take you to the part of the app where it gives a detailed description of the moves and it’s effects and everything like that. A button press is still registered but it no longer takes you to the description of the move and it’s a very long process to exit out of the move menu, the dex entry, and back to the main menu to go into the moves dex and search for the move there. A very high convenience tool and it hasn’t worked properly for a while, hopefully it is fixed soon
